Introduction:
I wish to introduce myself as FULL NAME, (DOB ).. I am writing to provide the
following explanation for the purpose of my study in Perth, Western Australia.
Recently I had finished my B.Sc. nursing and I aspired to work in a nursing home as a
Registered Nurse (RN) and later in future I aim to establish my own nursing home in
my own country. After consulting with some friends who work here as a RN and my
supervisor where I worked, I decided to go further with my education and continue
one year Diploma of management.

Why study this course?

After completing my nursing course now I realized management is also very essential
in nursing field. As I saw nurses facing a lot of difficulties and challenges in their
nursing career due to the lack of management skill in nursing home and even in
hospital, where I did my clinical placement. Therefore, before starting my career I
want to achieve a basic knowledge of management and leadership.

I believe it’ll be beneficial for me to study one year diploma of management to get
basic but very important academic knowledge and skill. In future I would like to go
back to my home country to be with my family, continue my work as a RN and
establish my own business (nursing home) and manage appropriately. I truly believe
my experience here, as an international student as well as quality education that I
will be receiving will be crucial for me to become an outstanding professional who
can make positive change in the society.

Why study at this college?

I like to study in DNA Kingston Training, as from the referral of my friends who are
students there. I was told that the training centre is very flexible and supportive to
international students, which is what I was looking for. I visited the college and was
assured that the course was definitely something that will benefit me and make
skilled in management, which was what I was hoping for.

Why study in Australia?

Education in Australia is internationally famous and known. The main reason for my
decision to study was because of the cultural diversity and good quality of education.
The Australian government carefully regulates the education system in order to
maintain the high standards of education associated with the country, which is not
the case in my home country Nepal. Besides that after spending so much time here I
have also realised how friendly and supportive native Australians are.

Future plans:

As mentioned above I want to complete my management course and get enough

quality experience as a qualified nurse. Henceforth I would like to go back to Nepal
and help the health sector there, as Nepal has been very underdeveloped in regards
to health facilities. Hopefully, if everything goes well and with my persistent to work
hard I can one day run my own nursing home and serve my country.

In conclusion, I would like to mention again that I wish to complete this course and
fulfil my dream of becoming a qualified and well-skilled Registered Nurse. I truly
hope that you will permit me to further my studies at DNA Kingston Training.
