Preliminary Activities

- Before we start, everybody stand for a - Ms. Maloloy-on leads the prayer…..
prayer. Ms. Maloloy-on, kindly lead the
prayer.
- Good afternoon class! - Good afternoon Sir!
- Before you take your seats, please pick up
some pieces of papers and trashes under
your chairs
- Done? - Yes Sir.
- Now, arrange your chairs and sit down
properly.
- Secretary of the class, kindly spread a paper
for the attendance.
- Okay! I can see in your gorgeous and
handsome faces that are all ready for our
new lesson this afternoon! Am I right?
- That’s good, but everyone here must abide
to our Class Rules.
1. Using cellphones inside the class is strictly
prohibited.
2. Minimize your voice when discussing in
your group.
3. Everybody must cooperate in your
respective group in every activity.
4. Respect one another. Listen when somebody
is answering.
5. If you want to answer or you have questions,
raise your hand silently.
6. Turn your chair silently. Do not drag the
chairs.
7. Show enthusiasm throughout the session.

- Now class, since you are all good then I am
hoping that everybody would still remember
about our previous lesson. Anyone from the

B. ESTABLISHING A PURPOSE FOR


NEW TOPIC
- Before we start to discuss our lesson this
afternoon, let us first have a game.
- I prepared 2 games for you class.
 Puzzled Pictures.
 Pasting Characteristics of the faces
you posted on the wall.
- Do you know how to play those?
- Good!
- I will divide you into 3 groups. All groups
must arrange the puzzled pictures quickly.
- You will be given 2 minutes to do this
activity. Members from the group also
prepare a yell and present it when you’re
done for you to be recognized.

- Is that clear class? -Yes Sir.

- Good!

- Are you ready to proceed to the second
game?
- Alright, I will give you an envelope and
inside it you can find 3 different
characteristics all you do is to post those
below the picture. One characteristic each
will be posted.

- Now, let us have another group activity. The
activity is called “Write and Show”. Now, I will
group you into 3 groups, each member from the
group must write and show their answers to the
given situation. All you do is to identify the
situation but your choices are, Child,
Adolescent and Adult.
- Are you excited? - Yes Sir!
