Quando os planetas posicionam-se nos signos, eles

podem estar debilitados ou dignificados, ou seja, com sua
energia enfraquecida (debilitado) ou fortalecida
(dignificados). A debilitação indica que a manifestação do
planeta tende mais para o seu lado negativo e a
dignificação, para o lado positivo. Dignidades são ;
DOMICÍLIO (o signo que o planeta rege) e EXALTAÇÃO
(signo com característica de afinidade). Debilitado são:
EXÍLIO (o signo oposto ao que o planeta rege) e
QUEDA( signo oposto ao de exaltação). Quando um

(British Encyclopedia) week

period of seven days, a unit of time artificially devised with no astronomical

basis. The origin of the term is generally associated with the ancient Jews and
the biblical account of the Creation, according to which God laboured for six
days and rested on the seventh. Evidence indicates, however, that the Jews
may have borrowed the idea of the week from Mesopotamia, for the Sumerians
and the Babylonians divided the year into weeks of seven days each, one of
which they designated a day of recreation.

The Babylonians named each of the days after one of the five planetary bodies
known to them and after the Sun and the Moon, a custom later adopted by the
Romans. For a time the Romans used a period of eight days in civil practice,
but in AD 321 Emperor Constantine established the seven-day week in the
Roman calendar and designated Sunday as the first day of the week.
Subsequent days bore the names Moon's-day, Mars's-day, Mercury's-day,
Jupiter's-day, Venus'-day, and Saturn's-day. Constantine, a convert to
Christianity, decreed that Sunday should be a day of rest and worship.

The days assigned by the Romans to the Sun, Moon, and Saturn were retained
for the corresponding days of the week in English (Sunday, Monday, and
Saturday) and several related languages. The other weekday names in English
are derived from Anglo-Saxon words for the gods of Teutonic mythology.
Tuesday comes from Tiu, or Tiw, the Anglo-Saxon name for Tyr, the Norse god
of war. Tyr was one of the sons of Odin, or Woden, the supreme deity after
whom Wednesday was named. Similarly, Thursday originates from Thor's-day,
named in honour of Thor, the god of thunder. Friday was derived from Frigg's-
day, Frigg, the wife of Odin, representing love and beauty, in Norse mythology.

A Iniciação é a sua própria vida. Se você

quer a Iniciação, escreva-a sobre uma vara.
Quem tiver entendimento que entenda,
porque aqui há sabedoria. A Iniciação não
se compra e nem se vende. Fujamos das
escolas que dão iniciações por
correspondência. Fujamos de todos
aqueles que vendem iniciações. A Iniciação
é algo muito íntimo da Alma. O Eu não
recebe iniciações. Aqueles que dizem, "Eu
tenho tantas e tantas iniciações", "Eu
possuo tantos e tantos Graus", são
mentirosos e farsantes, porque o "Eu" não
recebe Iniciações nem Graus.
Existem nove Iniciações de Mistérios
Menores e cinco importantes Iniciações de
Mistérios Maiores. É a Alma que recebe as
Iniciações. Trata-se de algo muito íntimo,
que não se anda dizendo e nem se deve
contar a ninguém.

Todas as iniciações e graus que são conferidos por muitas escolas do mundo físico não têm
realmente nenhum valor nos Mundos Superiores. Os Mestres da Loja Branca só
reconhecem como verdadeiras as legítimas Iniciações da Alma. Isso é uma coisa
completamente interna.

O discípulo pode subir as nove arcadas, pode atravessar todas as nove Iniciações de
Mistérios Menores, sem haver trabalhado com o Arcano A.Z.F. (a Magia Sexual). Todavia, é
impossível entrar nos Mistérios Maiores, sem a Magia Sexual (Arcano A.Z.F.).

No Egito, todo aquele que chegava à Nona Esfera, recebia inevitavelmente de lábios a
ouvidos o segredo terrível do Grande Arcano (o Arcano mais poderoso, o Arcano A.Z.F.).

O GUARDIÃO DO UMBRAL –EXÚ

A primeira prova que deve defrontar o candidato é a prova do Guardião do Umbral, que é o
reflexo do Eu, a íntima profundidade do Eu. Muitos são os que fracassam nessa terrível
prova. O candidato tem que invocar ao Guardião do Umbral nos mundos internos. Um
espantoso furacão elétrico precede à terrível aparição. A larva do Umbral está armada de
um terrível poder hipnótico. Realmente, este monstro possui toda a horrível fealdade dos
nossos próprios pecados. É o espelho vivo de nossas próprias maldades. A luta é
espantosa, frente a frente, corpo a corpo. Se o Guardião vence o candidato, este fica
escravizado pelo horrível monstro. Se o candidato sai vitorioso, o monstro do Umbral foge
aterrorizado. Então, um som metálico faz estremecer o Universo e o candidato é recebido
no Salão dos Meninos.

Isto faz-nos recordar aquela frase do Hierofante Jesus, o Cristo: "Em verdade, vos digo, se
não vos transformardes e vos fizerdes como meninos, não entrareis no reino dos céus".

No Salão dos Meninos, o candidato é homenageado pelos Santos Mestres. A alegria é

imensa por haver um ser humano entrado na Senda da Iniciação. Todo o Colégio de
Iniciados (Meninos) felicita o candidato vitorioso. O candidato derrotou o Primeiro Guardião.
Esta prova realiza-se no mundo astral.

SEGUNDO GUARDIÃO

O Guardião do Umbral possui um segundo aspecto. O aspecto mental. Devemos saber que
a mente do homem ainda não é humana; encontra-se na etapa animal. Cada qual tem no
plano mental a fisionomia animal que lhe corresponde, conforme o seu caráter. O astuto é
ali uma verdadeira raposa. O passional parece-se com um cão, ou um bode, etc.

O encontro com o Guardião do Umbral no plano da mente é ainda mais espantoso e mais
horrível que no plano astral. Na verdade, o Segundo Guardião é o Grande Guardião do
Umbral Mundial.

A luta com o Segundo Guardião costuma ser horrível. É o candidato quem deve invocar o
Segundo Guardião no plano mental. Este vem precedido de espantoso furacão elétrico. Se
o candidato sair vitorioso, é recebido com muito carinho no Salão dos Meninos do plano
mental. Se fracassar, torna-se escravo do horrível monstro. É nesta larva que se acham
personificados todos os nossos delitos mentais.

TERCEIRO GUARDIÃO

O encontro com o Terceiro Guardião realiza-se no mundo da vontade. O Demônio da Má

Vontade é o mais terrível dos três. Todo mundo faz sua vontade pessoal, mas os Mestres
da Loja Branca só fazem a Vontade do Pai; assim nos céus como na terra. Quando o
candidato sai vitorioso na terceira prova, é novamente homenageado no Salão dos
Meninos. A música é inefável... A festa, solene...

O SALÃO DO FOGO

Depois que o candidato venceu nas três provas básicas do Guardião da Imensa Região,
tem então que entrar no Salão do Fogo, onde os seus veículos internos são purificados
pelas chamas.

PROVAS DO FOGO, DO AR, DA ÁGUA E DA TERRA

No velho Egito dos Faraós essas quatro provas deviam ser defrontadas valorosamente no
mundo físico. Atualmente o candidato deve passar as quatro provas nos Mundos supra-
sensíveis.

PROVA DO FOGO

Esta prova é para aquilatar a serenidade e a doçura do candidato. Os iracundos e coléricos

fracassam inevitavelmente nesta prova. O candidato vê-se perseguido, insultado, injuriado,
etc. Muitos reagem violentamente e voltam ao corpo físico completamente fracassados.

Os vitoriosos são recebidos no Salão dos Meninos e homenageados com música deliciosa,
a Música das Esferas. As chamas horrorizam os fracos.

PROVA DO AR

Aqueles que se desesperam com a perda de alquém ou de algo, aqueles que temem a
pobreza, aqueles que não estão dispostos a perder o mais querido, fracassam na Prova do
Ar. O candidato é lançado no fundo do precipício. O fraco grita e volta ao corpo físico
horrorizado. Os vitoriosos são recebidos no Salão dos Meninos com festas e homenagens.

PROVA DA ÁGUA

A Grande Prova da Água é realmente terrível. O candidato é jogado ao oceano e crê afogar-
se. Aqueles que não sabem adaptar-se às mais variadas condições sociais da vida, aqueles
que não sabem viver entre os pobres, aqueles que depois de naufragarem no oceano da
vida, rechaçam a luta e preferem morrer, são os fracos que, inevitavelmente, fracassam na
Prova da Água. Os vitoriosos são recebidos no Salão dos Meninos com festas cósmicas.

PROVA DA TERRA

Nós temos que aprender a tirar partido das piores adversidades. As piores adversidades
nos oferecem as melhores oportunidades. Devemos aprender a sorrir ante as adversidades
- essa é a Lei.

Aqueles que sucumbem de dor em face das adversidades da existência não conseguem
triunfar na Prova da Terra.

Nos mundos superiores o candidato vê-se entre duas enormes montanhas que se fecham
ameaçadoramente. Se o candidato grita horrorizado, volta fracassado ao corpo físico. Se se
mantém sereno, sai vitorioso e é recebido no Salão dos Meninos com grande festa e
imensa alegria.

INICIAÇÕES DE MISTÉRIOS MENORES

Quando o candidato consegue vencer em todas as provas de introdução à Senda, tem

pleno direito de entrar nos Mistérios Menores. Recebe-se na Consciência Íntima cada uma
das nove Iniciações de Mistérios Menores. Se o estudante tiver boa memória, poderá trazer
ao cérebro físico a recordação dessas Iniciações. Não sendo boa a memória do candidato,
o pobre neófito ignora no mundo físico tudo o que aprende e recebe nos Mundos
Superiores. Os que não querem ignorar no físico nada do que lhes sucede na Iniciação têm
que, forçosamente, desenvolver a memória. O candidato deve desenvolver urgentemente a
sua memória. É mister também que o candidato aprenda a sair conscientemente em corpo
astral. É urgente que o candidato desperte a Consciência.

As nove Iniciações de Mistérios Menores constituem a senda probatória. As nove Iniciações

de Mistérios Menores são para os discípulos à prova. Os discípulos casados que praticam
com o Arcano A.Z.F. passam muito rapidamente nestas nove Iniciações elementares. O
discípulo solteiro que se mantém absolutamente casto passa também nas nove Iniciações,
porém mais lentamente. Os fornicários não podem receber nenhuma Iniciação.

INICIAÇÕES DE MISTÉRIOS MAIORES

Existem cinco grandes Iniciações de Mistérios Maiores. Existem sete serpentes. Dois
grupos de três com a coroação sublime da sétima língua de fogo que nos une com o Uno,
com a Lei, com o Pai. Necessitamos subir a escada setenária do fogo.

A Primeira Iniciação se relaciona com a primeira serpente. A Segunda Iniciação com a

segunda serpente. A Terceira Iniciação com a terceira serpente. A Quarta Iniciação com a
quarta serpente. A Quinta Iniciação com a quinta serpente. (As sexta e sétima pertencem a
Buddhi, ou Alma Consciência e Atman ou Íntimo do ser humano).

PRIMEIRA INICIAÇÃO DE MISTÉRIOS MAIORES

A primeira serpente corresponde ao corpo físico. É necessário levantar a primeira serpente

pelo canal medular do corpo físico. Quando a serpente atinge o campo magnético da raiz do
nariz, o candidato chega à Primeira Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores. A Alma e o Espírito
comparecem ante a Grande Loja Branca sem os corpos de pecado e em plena ausência do
Eu. Eles se olham, se amam e se fundem como duas chamas que, ao se unirem, formam
uma só chama. Nasce assim o Divino Hermafrodita. Este recebe um trono para mandar e
um templo para oficiar. Devemos nos converter em Reis e Sacerdotes da Natureza,
segundo a Ordem de Melchisedek. Quem recebe a Primeira Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores,
recebe a Espada Flamígera que lhe dá poder sobre os quatro elementos da Natureza.

É necessário praticar intensamente Magia Sexual para levantar a Serpente sobre a vara, tal
como o fez Moisés no deserto. O Amor é a base e o fundamento da Iniciação. É necessário
saber amar. A luta pela subida da serpente é muito difícil. A serpente deve subir lentamente
de grau em grau. São trinta e três vértebras, portanto, trinta e três graus. Os tenebrosos nos
atacam terrivelmente em cada vértebra. O Kundalini sobe muito lentamente, de acordo com
os méritos do coração. Necessitamos acabar com todos os nossos pecados. É urgente
percorrer a senda da mais perfeita Santidade. É indispensável praticar Magia Sexual sem
desejo animal. Não somente devemos matar o desejo, mas também a própria sombra do
desejo. Necessitamos ser como o limão. O ato sexual deve converter-se numa verdadeira
cerimônia religiosa. Os ciúmes devem ser eliminados. Saibam que os ciúmes passionais
liquidam a paz do lar.

SEGUNDA INICIAÇÃO DE MISTÉRIOS MAIORES

A segunda serpente sobe muito dificilmente pelo canal medular do corpo etérico. Quando a
segunda serpente atinge o campo magnético da raiz do nariz, o Iniciado entra no templo
para receber a Segunda Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores. É bom advertir que a humana
personalidade não entra no Templo, pois fica na porta arranjando os seus negócios com os
Senhores do Karma.

No interior do Templo, o Íntimo crucifica-se junto com seu corpo etérico. Ou seja, o Íntimo
veste-se com o corpo etérico para a crucificação. Assim é como o corpo etérico é
cristificado. Na Segunda Iniciação nasce o Soma Puchicon, o Traje de Bodas da Alma. O
Corpo de Ouro.

Este veículo é constituído pelos dois éteres superiores. O corpo etérico tem quatro éteres:
dois superiores e dois inferiores. Com o Traje de Bodas da Alma podemos penetrar em
todos os departamentos do Reino. Esta Iniciação é muito difícil. O estudante é severamente
provado. Se sair vitorioso, brilha o Sol da Meia-Noite e dele desce a estrela de cinco pontas
com seu olho central. Estrela essa que pousa sobre a cabeça do neófito para aprová-lo. O
resultado da vitória é a Iniciação.

TERCEIRA INICIAÇÃO DE MISTÉRIOS MAIORES

A terceira serpente sobe pelo canal medular do espectro astral. A terceira serpente deve
atingir o campo magnético da raiz do nariz e depois de lá descer até o coração por um
caminho secreto, no qual existem sete câmaras santas. Quando a terceira serpente chega
ao coração, nasce então um belíssimo menino, o Astral Cristo. O resultado de tudo isto é a
Iniciação. O neófito deve passar em corpo astral por todo o drama da Paixão do Cristo.
Deve ser crucificado, morto e sepultado. Deve ressuscitar e também deve descer ao abismo
e lá permanecer durante quarenta dias antes da Ascensão.

A cerimônia suprema da Terceira Iniciação recebe-se com o Astral Cristo. Aparece sobre o
altar Sanat Kummara, o Ancião dos Dias para conferir-nos a Iniciação.

Todo aquele que alcança a Terceira Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores recebe o Espírito Santo.

É necessário saber querer à mulher para alcançar esta Iniciação. A união sexual deve ser
plena de imenso amor. O falo deve entrar na vulva sempre com muita suavidade, para não
maltratar os órgãos da mulher. Cada beijo, cada palavra, cada carícia deve estar
completamente isenta de desejo. O desejo animal é um obstáculo gravíssimo para a
Iniciação.

Muitos puritanos, ao lerem estas linhas, nos qualificarão de imorais. Entretanto, essa gente
não se escandaliza com os bórdeis e com as prostitutas. Insultam-nos, mas não são
capazes de se lançarem aos bairros onde vivem as prostitutas para pregar-lhes a boa lei.
Odeiam-nos, porém não são capazes de se incomodarem com seus próprios pecados.
Condenam-nos porque pregamos a religião do sexo, mas não são capazes de condenar
sua própria fornicação. A humanidade é assim.

QUARTA INICIAÇÃO DE MISTÉRIOS MAIORES

Quando a quarta serpente conseguiu subir pelo canal medular do espectro mental,
acontece então a Quarta Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores. A quarta serpente atinge também o
entrecenho e depois desce até o coração.

No mundo da mente, Sanat Kummara dá sempre as boas-vindas ao candidato, dizendo:

"Haveis vos libertado dos quatro corpos de pecado. Sois um Buddha. Haveis penetrado no
Mundo dos Deuses. Sois um Buddha. Todo aquele que se liberta dos quatro corpos de
pecado é um Buddha. Sois um Buddha. Sois um Buddha. Sois um Buddha".

A festa cósmica desta Iniciação é grandiosa. Todo o mundo, todo o universo se

estremece de alegria, exclamando: "nasceu um novo Buddha". A Divina Mãe
Kundalini apresenta seu filho no templo dizendo: "Este é meu filho muito amado. Este
é um novo Buddha. Este é um novo Buddha. Este é um novo Buddha". As Santas
Mulheres felicitam o candidato com um beijo santo. A festa é terrivelmente divina. Os
grandes Mestres da Mente extraem, dentre o espectro mental, o formoso Menino da Mente
Cristo, que nasce na Quarta Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores. Todo aquele que recebe a
Quarta Iniciação ganha o Nirvana, que é o Mundo dos Deuses Santos. Quem alcança a
Quarta Iniciação recebe o Globo do Imperador da Mente, sobre o qual resplandece o signo
da Cruz.

A mente deve ser crucificada e estigmatizada na Iniciação. No Mundo da Mente cintila o

Fogo Universal. Cada uma das trinta e três câmaras da mente nos ensina terríveis
verdades.

QUINTA INICIAÇÃO DE MISTÉRIOS MAIORES

A quinta serpente sobe pelo canal medular do embrião de Alma que temos encarnado. A
quinta serpente deve chegar ao entrecenho e descer depois até o coração. Na Quinta
Grande Iniciação nasce o Corpo da Vontade Consciente. Todo aquele que nasce no Mundo
da Vontade Consciente encarna sua Alma, inevitavelmente. Todo o que encarna sua Alma
converte-se num verdadeiro Homem com Alma. Todo verdadeiro Homem imortal e completo
é um verdadeiro Mestre. Antes da Quinta Iniciação de Mistérios Maiores ninguém deve ser
denominado com o título de Mestre.

Na Quinta Iniciação aprendemos a fazer a Vontade do Pai. Devemos aprender a obedecer

ao Pai. Essa é a Lei.

Na Quinta Iniciação, devemos decidir-nos por um dos dois caminhos, ou ficarmos no

Nirvana gozando da dita infinita do Sagrado Espaço, que não tem limites, compartilhando
com os Deuses Inefáveis, ou renunciarmos a essa imensa dita e continuarmos vivendo
neste vale de lágrimas para ajudar à pobre humanidade doente. Esta é a Senda do Dever,
longa e amarga. Todo aquele que renunciar ao Nirvana por amor à humanidade, depois de
Nirvanas ganhos e perdidos por amor à humanidade, ganhará mais tarde a Iniciação
Venusta.

Todo aquele que recebe a Iniciação Venusta encarna o Cristo Interno. No Nirvana existem
milhões de Buddhas que não encarnaram o Cristo. É melhor renunciar ao Nirvana por amor
à humanidade e ter a dita de encarnar o Cristo, porque o Homem Cristo entra nos mundos
de super-nirvânica felicidade e mais tarde no Absoluto.

RESUMO DAS CINCO GRANDES INICIAÇÕES

Primeira Iniciação - O Íntimo e a Alma Consciência (Buddhi) se fundem, formando-se assim

um novo Iniciado. Mais um que entrou na corrente.

Segunda Iniciação - Nasce o Corpo Etérico, chamado Soma Puchicon.

Terceira Iniciação - Abrem-se os chacras do Corpo Astral e nasce o Astral Cristo, como um
menino cheio de beleza.

Quarta Iniciação - Nasce o Mental Cristo, como um preciosíssimo menino. O Iniciado

nasceu como um novo Buddha.

Quinta Iniciação - A Alma Humana, ou Corpo Causal, ou Corpo da Vontade, funde-se com o
Mestre Interno, o qual é Atman Buddhi (Íntimo e Consciência). Assim, as três chamas são
uma TRINDADE. Este é um novo e legítimo Mestre de Mistérios Maiores da Loja Branca.
Quem alcança a Quinta Iniciação pode entrar no Nirvana. Quem alcança a Quinta Iniciação
nasce no Causal. Quem alcança a Quinta Iniciação encarna a Alma. Só aquele que chega à
Quinta Iniciação é Homem com Alma, isto é, Homem verdadeiro.

4. Apas (water) - five powers of perception (buddindryas)
5. Prithivi (earth) - five powers of action (karmendryas)

So, according to this table, Avyakta would be Akasha of Akasha; Buddhi would be
Vayu of Akasha, and so on [David Allen Hulse, The Key of it All, pp.288-9].  Such
a fractal-like division of reality into self-similiar subdivisions is a common theme
in much occult thought.  To give just a few better-known examples: the ten sefirot
of Jewish and Hermetic Kabbalah, each divided into a full series of ten sub-sefirot;
the Planes, Cycles, and Root-races of Blavatskyian Theosophy (and subsequent
cosmological systems), each divided into the same set of seven sub-planes, sub-
cycles, or sub-races; and the Octaves of Gurdjieff, each divided into a full scale of
sub-octaves.

Apart from a different order of tattwas relative to the cosmological scheme, it can
be seen that the only novelty is the demotion of the purusha to the lowly place of
prithivi of akasha, to make up the fifth element of consciousness/akasha.  And
since in this system prithivi is matched with the karmendriyas or organs of action,
whilst the purusha is in both Patanjalian Yoga and classical Samkhya most
specifically a non-active principle, the artificial nature of this arrangement is
evident

The five vayus or pranas of Hatha Yoga

First described in the eighth chapter of the Shivagama, the theory of the five vayus or
pranas is clearly a system based on direct yogic experience.  It is here that the tattwas
are first described in terms of specific shapes.  The idea seems to be that from these five
basic shapes every possible form in the universe can be derived.  In addition to this, a
whole system of correspondences was worked out, some derived from classical
Samkhya, and others unique and original.

The whole system was presented in English by Rama Prasad in his book The Science of
Breath and the Philosophy of the Tattwas.  From Rama Prasad the tattwa doctrine was
adopted by Theosophy, where it was given further cosmological attributions (thus being
the fifth in the order of tattwa systems), and thence to the Hermetic system of the
Golden Dawn order, where it was used for practical magickal (theurgic) purposes, such
as "scrying" (travelling in the spirit vision).

Inconsistencies can easily be seen within this system: apana vayu, associated with
downward movement, is attributed to prithivi, whilst downward movement in general is
associated with Apas.  Such self-contradictions are extremely common in tables of
correspondences such as this, and indicate that they have probably been compiled from
a number of different sources, with little attempt to ensure the self-consistency of the
overall system.

Some of the associations are intuitively obvious; we expect the earth-element to be

square, representing the solid foundation of a building, or fire to be represented by a red
triangle; red being the colour of fire (although one would think yellow or orange would
also serve), and the pointed and jagged triangle a good symbol with the destructive
effect of flame.  In contrast, water is naturally represented by the wave-like semi-lunar
or semi-circular shape.  Curiously, blue is here associated with air; perhaps because of
the blue colour of the sky.

There is also an interesting correlation with Chinese system of correspondences in the

association of the element Earth (prithivi) with the colour yellow.  Possibly this
indicates some cross-cultural influence.

On the other hand, the psychological correspondences, based on the Mandukya

upanishad, are quite useless.  Why should fire be associated with dreamless sleep, for
example.  The only relevance between the two systems is that both the elemental order
and the Mandukya psychological order represent a progressive sequence, with one pole
as the most subtle, and one as the most concrete.

 In addition to the above there are also the various classical Samkhyan correspondences,
and some rather arbitrary seeming divination outcomes.  The whole list of
correspondences (twenty-seven columns in all) is given by David Allen Hulse The Key
of it All, pp. 291-6].

The greatest value the Hatha Yoga table of tattwas has is in defining the nature of the
etheric plane; the intermediate plane or sphere of existence between the lower mind or
psyche and the purely physical reality.  This is represented as the "self made of prana"
in the Taittiriya Upanishad, the pranic kosha of Advaita Vedanta, the ch'i or ch'i energy
of traditional Chinese science, and the pneuma or "spirit" of Hellenistic Hermeticism
and Neoplatonism.

It could be suggested that there are two distinct etheric/pranic planes or modalities of
existence; the higher one containing the dynamic patterns or archetypes, and lines of
force; and the lower the energy processes of the life-force (prana), which transmit the
morphogenetic (form-creating) blueprint of the higher etheric plane to the gross
physical forms.
