INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS AND SOCIAL LIFE

IN TIMES OF COVID-19 nineteen

Interpersonal relationships and social life are fundamental for human beings. When
we refer to these we are talking about the interaction between two or more people.
However, the current situation unleashed by the pandemic caused by Covid-19
nineteen has led to many of our relationships being mediated by new
communication channels and other relationships have intensified with the good and
bad that this implies.

In these days of Covid-19, especially in the confinement stage, we were exposed to

a more intense interaction with our family nucleus. For example, before confinement,
many of our parents left the house to work and we also went out to study; However,
in this new reality, parents and children spend much more time together, and this in
some cases has been positive and in others negative. In turn, many of the
relationships that before confinement were experienced together, are now
experienced virtuality; For example, studies, sports training, church, special
celebrations, times to share with friends, have been virtualized (and some continue
in the same way).

In short, we can see that Covid-19 has brought many adjustments to our
interpersonal relationships and social life. The biggest change has been that many of
them are now experienced through virtual means. We cannot say that this has been
totally negative; Well, in not a few cases, this has led to the generation of deeper
relationships. However, it is clear that we need to feel and experience others in a
face-to face way.
