Group Task: Read the following instances when the word "professional" is used.

As a
group, explain what the word "professional" means in each case.
GROUP 1. One night, cellphones were stolen right there from your home while you
were asleep. There was no indication of forced entry, so you claimed that the manner
by which your cellphone was stolen was highly professional.
- My understanding of this sentence is that the person that stole the cell phone is
professionally skilled or has an experience stealing because the thief left no trace
of his existence and he perfectly planned before he goes to the house.
GROUP 2. Father tells floor tile setter whom he asked to work a newly constructed
bathroom "Gusto ko yong gawang propesyonal, malinis at maganda."
- In this sentence, my understanding is that the father tells the floor tile setter to
work neatly and clean because he knew that his work is professional.
GROUP 3. "How unprofessional of her to act that way. Teacher pa naman din."
- In my understanding in this sentence are the person is saying about the teacher
that "unprofessional of her to act that way" means that way of she's moving and
acting is not related to his work or the person says that word is angry or jealous
of the teacher.
GROUP 4. She is highly professional in her ways. She deals with everyone including
her daughter - employee professionally.
- In my understanding in this sentence is the mother is highly professional at his
work so the way to treat his employees is equally even his daughter.
GROUP 5. Medical doctors, lawyers, education consultants are entitled to professional
fees (PF) for expert rendered.
- This sentence means the person that is entitled to a professional fee like a
medical doctor, lawyer, and education consultant can demand payment as long
as the activity is done.
