Short Description

“HW Engineer – R&D” is expected to build electronic hardware which leave a mark on how
automotive & off-highway power-trains are thought of world-wide. S/he is expected build electronic
design differentiators and work with a cross functional team to execute such design.

Job Description

The candidate will primarily work on creating new electronic circuit in domains such as engine
controls, motor controls, battery technology, electric machine design and inertial measurement
systems. The candidate will be required to

• Carries out detailed electronic circuit design, including simulation and design verification
testing of the new design.
• Consider applicable Electrical/ Environmental/ EMI EMC standards of testing and validation
while designing new circuits.
• Prepares and presents electronic designs to other members of the design team and project
stakeholders at design reviews.
• Documentation of design work and prepares reports.
• Write white-papers to document the electronic circuit developed.
• Attends training as required, develop skills and knowledge keeping up to date with latest
technology.

Desired technical skills

• Strong command over electronic circuit design, engineering physics and mathematics along
with enthusiasm for potentially cross-domain ideas (mechanical, electrical etc.).
• Strong skills in electronics measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with tools such as Pspise.
• Experience with new product development.

Desired soft skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work with a cross-functional team.
• Professional attitude towards work.
• Sense of ownership and urgency when working in the company.
• Strong sense of ethics

Additional information:

• Attractive compensation scheme comprising of a base salary, bonus etc.

• There will be a technical evaluation including a technical test.
