Role: We are seeking a true leader to develop, propose, and execute a sales and marketing strategy for indust-

rial lubricants and related products for the Central and Eastern Europe markets. The role requires deep technical
knowledge and a high degree of entrepreneurism from a goal-oriented executive with a track record of delivering
results. The position reports to the Managing Director of Motul Germany.
Motul Tech sells speciality lubricants in world markets. Its metalworking fluids and high-performance lubricants,
developed in France and Italy, are sold in many parts of the world. MotulTech sets up in areas with a high indus-
trial potential, technical units located in each of these areas providing the necessary services to manufacturers.
MotulTech develops, produces and sells speciality lubricants meeting the requirements of manufacturers in a very
wide variety of fields: Lubrication of industrial processes - Metalworking - Stone and mineral cutting High-perfor-
mance lubrication - Applications in extreme conditions (temperature, hostile environment, etc.)

Sales & Marketing Manager – Industrial Products (m/w)


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
·· Design and implement a high-growth strategic sales plan for commercial and industrial products under the
Motul Tech brands.
·· Find new and develop and optimize the existing distributor network and customer network in Central and East
Europe.
·· Author and lead a rapid expansion into Central and Eastern Europe.
·· Develop and implement marketing strategy, including advertising campaign, sales incentives program, product
launch, sponsoring activities in line with the corporate identity.
·· Propose and implement sales and marketing budget and manage sales and marketing resources according to
agreed budgets.
·· Implement suitable PR activities to develop and improve the brand awareness of the company in line with the
corporate identity.
·· Achieves sales targets and budgets in volume, value and profitability.
·· Conduct regular market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, discount rates and sales
incentives scheme.
·· Continually advise and train distributors and clients on sales and marketing best-practices.
·· Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base
expansion.
·· Monitor and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
·· Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the department.
·· Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities.

Profile of the employee
QUALIFICATIONS
·· Master’s degree in engineering, chemical, or business-related field.
·· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business-to-business industrial sales, lubricant, additive or chemical indus-
try exposure is a plus.
·· Must have good understanding of commercial and industrial lubricant products and applications.
·· Demonstrate strong track record of distributor management in Central and Eastern Europe.
·· General knowledge in the majority of operations related systems (ERP) and profound knowledge of MS Office
(PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
·· Field tested technical & Project Management skills
·· Financial understanding and experience
·· Demonstrable success in negotiation of high value contracts with customers
·· Knowledge and experience of making Marketing & Promotion strategy at global level; comprising of:
* Selection and implementation of proper marketing tools to increase the market share
* Customer specific strategy
·· Language: Very good German skills and fluent in English (verbal and written)
