This learning resource hopes to engage the learners into guided and independent

learners acquire the needed 21st century skills while taking into consideration
their needs and circumstances.

The hand is one of the most symbolized part of the human body. It is often used to
depict skill, action and purpose. Through our hands we may learn, create and
accomplish. Hence, the hand in this learning resource signifies that you as a
learner is capable and empowered to successfully achieve the relevant

DANCE
Dance is another indoor alternative recreation for those who enjoy the beat
of rhythm and movement. It is a fantastic and fun form of exercise that gradually
raises heart rate. That’s why dance is a very good cardio work out. Regular
participation in dance activities tightens and tones muscle groups and burns more
calories.
It tones the abdominals – the dance moves work on firmer core abdominal
muscles.
BASIC ZUMBA STEPS
Zumba involves a combination of Latin dance steps such as salsa, samba,
raggaeton, merengue, cumbia, cha-cha-cha, mambo rumba, flamenco. Many steps
have been included to make the dance more exciting such as belly dancing, hip hop
and the like.
