Introduction:
Learning is essential to our survival. Just like the food in our body, information and continuous
learning can nourish our minds. Lifelong learning is an indispensable tool for every profession
and organization. Today, continuous learning has become an essential part of acquiring critical
thinking skills and discovering new ways with people from different cultural backgrounds. It is
unthinkable to live a life without continuous learning. So from the latest technology came to help
and enhance learning one of the tools that were so helpful in this is Macromedia Flash Animation
is a multimedia software platform used for the production of animations, rich web applications,
desktop applications, mobile apps, mobile games, and embedded web browser video players.
Flash displays text, vector graphics, and raster graphics to provide animations, video games, and
applications. It allowed audio and video streaming and can capture mouse, keyboard,
microphone, and camera input.
Our project will show how Macromedia flash enhances learning, which is one of the world's
most dominating languages, especially in education, and hugely important as an international
language. Besides, English is an essential subject in every school to improve the quality of life
and get in touch on a global level. People should have the ability to write application letters or
any letters to start their careers. Those facts prove that mastering writing skills iareneededfory
the students prepare them in a higher education level and in the field of work that demands them
to understand English as a means of communication.

In addition to the argument that technology will negatively affect students' learning progress,
Macromedia Flash Animation has also proven to be a useful tool. Students' study time can be
best used, because their growth is completely under their control: either they can work hard to
stand out, or they can let the opportunity go in vain. Here are some ways Macromedia Flash
Animation can make academia better.
2. Improved Communication
3. Effective Assessments
With the help of Macromedia Flash Animation, teachers are not only able to prepare lessons in
an efficient manner, but also know the progress of their students.
the software available with which teachers can give or receive assessments of their students. for
instance, in Macromedia Flash Animation the teacher can ask the student to make a movement or
create a short film in replace of the normal assessment.

4. Fun Learning
In fact, students learn more as they practice. The use of Macromedia Flash Animation makes
things more interesting than ever. Students are engaged in many learning tasks to improve their
retention of new concepts. Since the introduction of computers, tablets and mobile phones, a
wide range of educational applications have emerged that enable learners to learn various
concepts in a fun way, one of which is Macromedia Flash Animation.
Having a certain understanding of the media being studied is the implicit purpose of using a
media that can help teachers easily convey information to learners so that learners can quickly
and accurately grasp the information. Within the framework of the teacher's learning process, the
use of media means that students have carried out learning activities to avoid oral symptoms,
knowing that words convey a teacher but do not understand its meaning and meaning.
In the teaching process, the existence of the media plays an important role. In case of unclear
situations, you can help submit materials through the media, because the materials to be
delivered are of intermediate complexity. Advances in information and communication
technology have affected many teacher departments working in the education and teaching
fields, and this impact cannot be avoided. Once the development of information and
communication technology (ICT) has been very rapid in recent years, teachers need to keep up
with technology. If teachers cannot keep up with the pace of technological change, they worry
that teachers will not be able to act as teachers and educators. With the advancement of
technology, a large number of facilities and infrastructure make the learning process (PBM)
more interesting for learners. This has caused PBMs that rely on chalk and blackboards to seem
to be more suppressed by technological progress.
Teachers in teaching activities can utilize laptops (portable computers) and LCD projector in the
member learning materials to the students. Through this technological sophistication PBM will
certainly be much more interesting. And, the more creative teachers in using technology, it will
better the absorption capacity of the student to the subject matter.

There are several models-the learning system design model can be used to improve the
effectiveness of the learning program, such as the system design model of Walter Dick and Lou
Carey, the ASSURE model developed by Sharon E. Smaldino and others. Model ADDIE and so
on. Model development of teaching media The Macromedia Flash that researchers are
developing in this development is the model ADDIE. The purpose of developing this model is to
create effective and efficient learning activities, especially in learning activities that use media
technology.
The important steps that need to be completed in the ADDIE model of teaching system design
include several activities, namely, the analysis phase, the learning design phase (to achieve the
learning goals), the development phase, the material delivery phase, and the evaluation phase.
Discussion:
1. Advantages
One of the advantages is that Macromedia Flash is a program that can be used to create
animations, games and teaching tools. Macromedia Flash is equipped with action scripts
(command actions) to make presentations or teaching equipment more diverse and interesting
than other presentation programs.
a. Beginners who are not familiar with the field of design and animation can easily learn and
understand Macromedia Flash without having a wealth of knowledge related to the field.
b. Macromedia Flash program users can easily and freely create animations with free movement
according to the streamlines of the animation scenes they want.
c. Macromedia Flash can generate files of smaller size. This is because Flash uses vector-based
animations and can use smaller Flash file sizes on web pages without taking a lot of time to open
it.

d. Macromedia Flash generates the file type (extension). FLA has a flexible nature because it can
be converted to swf, html, gif, jpg, png, exe, Mov and other file types. This allows users of the
program Macromedia Flash to use it for various purposes we want.
2. Disadvantages
Based on the advantages of using Macromedia Flash, there are some limitations in using
Macromedia Flash, namely:
a. Long learning times especially those who have been using graphic design software before.
b. The graphics are less complete.
c. Slow login.
d. Less Simple.
e. The menu is not user friendly.
f. It should be a lot of references tutorial. g. Lacking in 3D. Making 3D animation is quite
difficult.
h. The language is rather difficult programming.
i. No templates in it.
j. Large file sizes.12
Conclution:
With the development of teaching media materials research, Macromedia Flash has developed an
effective, practical, and effective learning media course on flat materials that will make people’s
learning activities more interesting and the learning results will automatically be better. And the
research steps carried out by using the ADDIE model will be able to run systematically and
systematically. Of course, the three main stages in this development process are the verification
stage, the practical stage and the validity stage of the teaching media developed by Macromedia
Flash.
