Kanluranin sa unang yugto bansang sumailalim at naapektuhan sa pananakop na ito. Maraming
nagbago at mayroon rin namang mga nanatili na lubhang

nakaapekto sa kasaysayan at kasalukuyang panahon sa mga bansa
pagdating nila sa Timog at sa Asya. Ang naganap sa panahong iyon ay tinawag na Kolonyalismo

ang karangyaan at kayamanan nito na naging dahilan kung bakit
maraming Europeo ang namangha at nahikayat na makarating at
makipagsapalaran sa Asya.
RENAISSANCE- Kilusang pilosopikal na makasining na binigyang-
diin ang pagbabalik interes sa mga kaalamang klasikal ng Gresya at
Roma. Napalitan ito ng makaagham na pag-iisip mula pamahiin.
Sinasabing labas sa saklaw ng relihiyon ang interes nito.
-Ito ay galling sa salitang Pranses na ang ibig
sabihin ay muling pagsilang. Ito ay naganap sa huling bahagi ng
gitnang panahon at pagsulong ng makabagong panahon.
- Sa panahong ito, natuon ang interes ng tao sa istilo
at disenyo , sa pamahalaan,sa edukasyon,sa wastong pag-uugali at
sa paggalang sa pagkatao ng isang indibidwal.
-Ito ang nagbukas ng daan sa pagbabago sa
larangan ng kalakalan at negosyo kaya umusbong ang rebolusyong
komersyal na nagdulot ng mga pagbabago sa gawaing pang-
ekonomiya.
PAGBAGSAK NG CONSTANTINOPLE- Ang Constaninople ang
nagsilbing rutang pangkalakalan mula Europa patungong India, China
at iba pang bahagi ng silangan na napasakamay ng mga Turkong

-Ito rin ang nagsilbing daanan madalas ng mga krusada
upang mabawi ang Jerusalem , kaya nang ito ay bumagsak sa mga
Turkong Muslim, tanging ilang mga lugar sa Italy lang ang
pinahintulutan na rito ay makadaan.
-Dahil dito, napilitang maghanap ng bagong ruta ang mga
mangangalakal na Europeo . Pinangunahan ito ng Portugal at
sinundan ng Spain, Netherland, England at France.
MERKANTILISMO- Kinakailangan ng Europeo na makahanap ng
mga lugar na mapagkukunan ng likas na yaman at hilaw na sangkap
at pagbebentahan ng mga yaring produkto.
-Umiiral sa Europe ang prinsipyong pang-
ekonomiya na ito na kung maraming ginto at pilak may
pagkakataon na maging mayaman at makapangyarihan ang isang
bansa.

WHITE MAN’S BURDEN- Isinulat ni Rudyard Kipling , isang
manunulang Ingles , ipinasailalim sa kaisipan ang mga nasasakupan
na sila ay pabigat sa mga Kanluraning bansa, na ang mga kanluranin
ay may tungkulin na turuan at tulungan upang paunlarin ang
kanilang nasasakupan .
-Ito ang naging katuwiran ng mga Kanluranin sa ginawa
nilang pananakop sa Asya , ang paghahangad na ipakilala ang
kanilang superior na kultura, relihiyon at paniniwala sa iba pang
bansa sa mundo.
D. PARAAN NG PANANAKOP
KOLONYALISMO-Isang patakaran ng isang bansa na mamamahala
ng mga sinakop upang magamit ang mga likas na yaman ng mga
sinakop para sa sariling interes.
-Pagtatatag ng kolonyal , pagpapataw at paniningil
ng buwis at pagsasagawa ng mga batas na makabubuti sa mga
mananakop
IMPERYALISMO-Nangangahulugang ang dominasyon ng isang
makapangyarihang nasyon-estado sa aspektong
pangpolitika,pangkabuhayan, at kultural na pamumuhay ng mahina
at maliit na nasyon-estado upang maging makapangyarihan.
-Ang pagtatatag ng maraming kolonya ang
magbibigay daan sa pagpapalawak ng mga nasasakupan upang
makapagtatag ng imperyo.

na sangkap ng mga nasakop na bansa.
2. Ginagawang bagsakan o pamilihan ng mga yaring produkto ang
mga kolonya upang mas malaki ang kita.
3.Nagpatayo ng mga riles ng tren, tulay at kalsada ang mga
mananakop para maging mabilis ang transportasyon ng mga
produkto.
4.Lumitaw ang mga mangangalakal o middlemen na nakinabang sa
pag-unlad ng kalakalan.
5.Nagtatag ng mga sentralisadong pamahalaan ang mga mananakop.
6.Nagkaroon ng fixed border o takdang hanggananang teritoryo ng
bawat bansa.
7. Pinalitan ang mga paniniwala, pilosopiya at pananampalataya ng

D.Maingat na Paghuhusga (Prudence). Ang maingat

E.Sining (Art). Ang sining ang nagtuturo sa atin upang lumikha sa
tamang pamamaraan., at paglikha, ito ay bunga ng katuwiran.. Ito rin ay
maaaring gamitin sa paglikha ng mga bagay na may kapakinabangan.
Nakakagawa ang tao ng mga iba’t-ibang paraan upang isakatuparan ang
kanyang iniisip na maaring sa paraan ng pagkanta, pagpinta atbp.
