1. INTRODUCTION
SPL Mahakam have three engine generator Cummins, Type 6CTA83 – GIM, 150 KVA and this
equipment installed on Engine Room (Generator #1 & Generator #2) and Main deck (Generator #3)
On August, 31 2018 We found Generator #1 is over heat at turbocharger after We have performed
engine in > 1 hours.

2. OBJECTIVE
This Project Execution Plan (PEP) defines the methods and project management elements used to
manage the execution of this PROJECT. It establishes the critical baseline documents based
execution philosophy, and defines the organization, work processes, and systems necessary for
management of this project.
CONTRACTOR’s major objective is to perform the work safely and efficiently within the project
schedule in accordance with project specifications, criteria and procedures.

5.1. SCOPE OF DOCUMENT
This document only applies to work related withConstruction and Installation of Temporary Rental
Generator Set for C.B SPL Mahakam. Document explain about Project Management Plan,
Placement Strategy, Risk Analysis, Job Hazard Analysis, Lifting Plan, and Commissioning

5.2. SCOPE OF WORK

Things to do in this job include Technical Specification, onshore commissioning, site installation and
commissioning onsite. Onshore commissioning. After pass all testing and fit up process., the overall
item will be sent to the site separately to pick up. Generator Set will be installed on C.B SPL
Mahakam with SPL Mahakam Crew.

7. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
7.1. ORGANIZATION
In this work, Engineering team will be coorperation with Operation Team in office and on site. The
Project Leader in managing and collecting all information from site during work.
All information and reports shall be submitted by the assigned personnel to the Project Leader in
timely manner.

To ensure the smooth execution of the project, CONTRACTOR has set the following three project
offices:
a. Field Offices Samarinda that are located in Jl Kemangi Blok RS No. 6 will be used for:
 Overall construction management including site engineering activity
 Field Quality Assurance / Quality Control
 HSE and Security Control

b. Project Office by C.B SPL Mahakam Crew mwill be used for:

 Project ManagementTeam for Lifting and Installation
 Preparation tools for lifting and installation
 Procurement for all material that needed

c. Balikpapan Office PHM Office will be used for coordination project with COMPANY

7.2. WORK PREPARATION
Work Preparation consist of Site Survey, Kick Off Meeting, SamarindaProject Office Settlement. As
part of project starts strategy, Project Management Team (PMT) of CONTRACTOR would like to
conduct a site survey to PHM Office. The purpose of this site visit is to have more information given
on bidding documents, project scope of work deeply understanding and strategy development on
this PEP.
The kick off will be held after the PMT site survey complete. CONTRACTOR will conduct kick off
meeting which will demonstrate the project scope understanding and strategy applies for executing
the Works.
In addition, CONTRACTOR has setting up a project office in Samarinda, which is located at PT.
Supraco Lines on JlKemangi Blok RS No. 6

7.3. ENGINEERING WORK

Engineering work consists of drawing for placement Temporary Rental Generator Set,Process and
Safety Installation will be handle by CONTRACTOR. The engineering work.

7.4. MANPOWER DISTRIBUTION

Manpower that will be executed activity consist of:
a. PMT in office Samarinda Office leading by Project Manager

8. PLACEMENT STRATEGY
Structural activities focus are on the installationTemporary Rental Generator Set specific location:
CONTRACTOR choose to placement Temporary Rental Generator Set on main deck because on top
deck have a bad structural and below top deck is accommodation deck. If placement of Generator Set
install on top deck, it can disturb operational production because crew have a bad rest and top deck
have a potential crack cause Generator Set Vibration. Installation of Temporary Rental Generator will be
complete with exhaust system. For detail drawing and exhaust Installation will be explained in Appendix
-1

9. RISK ANALYSIS and Job Hazard Analysis

At every work activities that performed on Vessel, PT. Supraco Lines has made risk
assessment and mitigation measures. There are several activities with fairly high level of risk :
a. Lifting and mobilization Temporary Rental Generator Set
b. Loading Temporary Rental Generator Set from Boat to C.B SPL Mahakam
c. Placement Temporary Rental Generator Set on Main Deck. For detail risk assessment will be
explained in Appendix– 2

10. JOB PLAN

At every work activities, PT. Supraco Lines has made job plan. There are activities from
preparation until housekeeping. For detail job plan will be explained in Appendix – 3

11. LIFTING PLAN

Lifting Plan will be conducted by PT. Supraco Lines. Purpose of this activity is to lift
Generator from Boat to SPL Mahakam. Details about lifting activities will be explained in
Appendix- 4

12. COMMISSIONING
Commissioning will be conducted in 2 place, onshore shop and vessel. Both commissioning using same
methods, but on shop using load test while on site don't using it. The method is load test for knowing
centre of gravity position. The thinks used for knowing centre of gravity that required during lifting
activity. Commissioning activity on this project will be planned into Commissioning Plan and cover by
three stages of handover:
a. CONTRACTOR after due checks on completion of the equipment prior to resuming pre-
commissioning checks, followed by performing static tests onshore after completion fabrication.
b. After material on site (C.B SPL Mahakam), the work will start after handover document sign off by
operation authority to maintenance team. In the case maintenance team are CONTRACTOR. Before
constructionbegan, overall equipment safety must ready to use and attached (fire extinguisher,
barrier line).
c. Commissioning activity have been conducted when Item in onshore workshop CONTRACTOR and
when tools and lifting equipment ready. After commissioning Generator Set will be install on Vessel
The Control and monitoring of Pre-/com activities shall utilize by CONTRACTOR and review by
CONTRACTOR Commissioning system.
