As part of your English Learning Process, it is important to get familiar with
technical vocabulary in order to be able to translate short pieces of texts containing
technical information.
A. Getting familiar withthechnicalvocabulary
After revising the vocabulary in the material “Strategic framework: developing

activity? Explain.

This activity requires a logical sense, and be clear about the subject that is being
translated, taking into account the precaution of using the appropriate terminology,
depending on the profession or trade, with the idea of always expressing a clear
message.What do you think is necessary to do a correct translation?

A good translation should transmit the same content of the source text to the target
language, and obviously, should not add ideas or delete them. The registration of
the source text, the expressions, the turns, the terminology must be transferred
correctly. And since the text was created for a specific objective and audience, it is
necessary to respect the spirit and the objective of the original text, so that the
translation will have the same effect.

4. According to your experience, what is the most difficult aspect about

translation?

The most difficult aspect in a translation is having the clarity of how to interpret or
understand the message when the verbs are conjugated in their different times,
since it can vary in the translation of the quantities as the case of the word, which
can mean no , some or in that specific case the word anyone is used, to have a
more accurate message to what is meant.
