TYPE OF EVENT: CONVENE


Date of Event: October 15, 2021 (1:00 pm – 3:30pm)

EVENT VISION

Event Purpose The purpose of the virtual conference is for the members of the hospitality and
tourism industry in the Philippines, could discuss the effects of the global pandemic in
the industries and how will they recover and adapt to the crisis.

SMARTER Objectives To bring together the members in the hospitality and tourism industry, so that they can
discuss and provide the strategies and ideas to adapt and avoid the crisis from even
more affecting the industries. Since this is an important conference, I assume that all
attendees will be attending the virtual event.

After the virtual conference all attendees will receive an email that has a google form
link attach to it, and they will answer the survey to have the feedbacks of each
attendee after the virtual conference. Every attendee will also receive a treat that will
be delivered to their location as soon as all attendees has responded to the form.

Budget 67,000 pesos


 Souvenirs – 7,000 pesos
 Wines- 60,000 pesos

Measures An email will be sent to all attendees and in it is a link for google forms that has a
survey about the virtual conference, this will determine the satisfactory of the
attendees and the effectivity of the virtual conference.

Participants/Audience It’s a private virtual conference and the attendees or the people invited to the virtual
conference had already been planned and organized, from hospitality and tourism
directors and other members of the industries. The number of attendees would range
from 20-30 attendees to insure the event is timely.

EVENT CONCEPT

Event Format Due to the lockdowns and increase number of infected all over the world, the
Conference will be held in zoom and each attendee is given a chance to speak in
discussing and providing ideas and solutions for both industries to use and modify to
recover and adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration In the email is a google form link to confirm the receival and availability of the attendee
if he/she will be able to attend the virtual conference, and this will also help to confirm
the number of treats to purchase.

Atmosphere All attendees will open their cameras and have a logo on their background showing
which industry they are from.

Program The program will be on October 15, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm in total of 2 hours
and 30 mins, but depending on how long the host will speak on closing remarks.
During the event there will be discussions and presentations about the issues and how
the industry will be able to adapt to it. In the end of the event the host will inform the
participants about their treats and update them on private message about the arrival.

Treats Only the registered participants will be able to receive treats and will be delivered by
couriers to their location.
