“2021 VIRTUAL DANCE COMPETITION”

I. GENERAL GUIDELINES:

1. The contest is open to interested participants 18 and above of age.

2. There will be 3 solo participants for each dance category – BALLROOM, FOLK DANCE, and HIP-
HOP.
3. Each participant must submit a dance video according to their category with the given time
frame:
Ballroom: 1 minute and 20 seconds
Folk Dance: 3 minutes to 5 minutes
Hip-Hop: 2 minutes to 5 minutes
4. For BALLROOM – the participant will prepare a Cha-cha presentation.
5. For FOLK DANCE – the participant will prepare Rural or Maria Clara suite presentation.
6. For HIPHOP - the performance will be judged according to the dance only; props and exhibitions
are not allowed.
7. The competition will be held on March 20, 2021, 8:00AM via Google Meet.
8. There will be no registration fee.

II. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

 Choreography/Execution 50%
 Mastery 30%
 Costume 10%
 Video Presentation 10%
TOTAL 100 %
