General Objectives:
The College is focused on the holistic development of a person through physical,
mental, emotional, spiritual, environmental occupational and social exposures. These are
nurtured through sports participation, fitness awareness, social graces through dance and
the wise use of leisure time. Its curriculum is built around the real and basic needs of the
youth. As the college serves the university and the community, it is well commissioned to
uplift quality training and instruction by which will push archery, swimming, dance
sports, chess, racquet games, batted games and combative sports to a higher level of
excellence. Other quality training on the basic and advanced knowledge in Physical
Education and Sports are the general services the college provides.
Specific Objectives:
At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:
a. Discuss the history and origin of Arnis, the facilities, equipment and important
terminologies.
b. Demonstrate the basic Arnis skills with mastery and accuracy.
c. Value the importance of Arnis as a Filipino Martial Art and a modern sport.
d. Appreciate the importance of doing proper warm-ups, stretching and cool-down
in order to prevent injury.
