By question and answer elicit the time expressions:
Eat breakfast
Wash my hair
Drink beer
Go to bed after midnight
The adverb or time expression may be omitted depending on the focus of the lesson
STUDY
Draw out the scale line for the adverbs of frequency and elicit the positions of the adverbs

Some teachers may wish to use percentages to help illustrate this point
Activity 1. Verbal/boardwork
Elicit four action verbs from the students and ask them to create a full sentence using a
different subject, adverb and time expression in each case.
