Lesson 1

I. Objectives
1. Aims:
- Provide new words that appeared in this Unit.
- To reinforce the speaking practice through structure: Where do/does
bear(s) live?
2. Material: Ps’ Course book, Activity book, flashcards, audio, black-board.
3. Class: Little 3
4. Time allotted: 90 mins

II. Procedure

Time Steps Activities

Warm- - T plays the song One Little Finger; A Ram Sam Sam.
10’ Warm - up
up - Ps listen and act it out
-T shows 2 pictures about City and Country; then asks Ps
10’ Lead – in
some simple questions.
- T draws the mountain, forest, river, field, building, street,
traffic light to help Ps brainstorm and make sure they’ve
already known the new words.- T uses flashcards to
20’ Vocabulary
demonstrate the new words.
- Ps use structure: It/They lives/live in (forest/ river…) to
answer T’s question “Where do/does the bear(s) live?”
Lesson
Game: Play dice
- T prepares a dice and lets Ps play this game.
10’ - P1 rolls the dice, if it has 1 point – P1 reads one word,
and answers one question; the same for 5&6 points – P1
Games reads all words
Game: Through the circle
-T prepares a circle and guides Ps to play this game.

- Ps through the circle and get good mark if they remember
the flashcards.
Break time - 5 mins
Hand – out -T gives hand-out to Ps and requires them to complete the
