This school year 2020-2021 brought a lot of changes. One of the major changes in the
country is the new set-up in education. For this, DepEd introduced the LDM Course.
This course provides knowledge to deliver education to learners in this new normal
setting by using Self-Learning Modules.
Teachers reached this far and were able to cope up with the challenges and demands
they are facing in this distance learning situation because of the learning they gained
in LDM Course.
This Practicum Portfolio contains MOV’s that we have used in this school year in
delivering our lessons despite of this pandemic. It contains various artifacts like
WHLP, ILMP, Worksheets, LAS, certificates and even the conversation made with
the parents and learners.

ANNOTATION:
I always contact my pupils and parents for feedbacks and follow-ups. I gave simple examples and explained to them
clearly. I also developed instructional materials like worksheets with easy examples suited to the level of my learners.

ANNOTATION:
I simplify the topic and for the students to better understand the lessons since it is not well explained in their
module. I gave them additional performance tasks for the activity. During the submission of video output about
reading, I noticed that this pupil couldn’t read the words correctly and somebody is murmuring beside him. I gave
them supplementary reading materials like Claveria technique for him to read at home.

3.4. Learners in difficult circumstances
ANNOTATION:
Some of my parents find it hard to go to school to get the modules of their children because of their work.
Others live too far from the school while some live with their grandparents only. This pandemic brought too
many challenges for the pupils to continue their education. To address the needs of the pupils regarding this
problem, I drove my motorcycle just to deliver these modules to those learners who resides within the area.
But for some who has internet connection, I just sent it to their messenger account.

4.1. Planning & management of teaching & learning process
ANNOTATION:
Though we are not in a face to face set-up, I always make a Performance Tasks where they can showcase their
creativity (drawing, making slogan, composing a sentence), skills (dancing, creating a poem, rap, singing) so
they don’t find my lessons boring. I also provided video lessons and sent it in our GC as their reference
especially if they don’t get the lesson explained in the modules.

ANNOTATION:
Learner’s output should be aligned with learning objectives. In making CO plan, evaluation must jive
to learning objectives.
ANNOTATION:
I made learning activity sheets with simple examples suited to their level. And I asked their parents
to guide their children in answering those worksheets.

ANNOTATION:
Through the help of Power point presentation, parents can teach and explain the lesson to
their children. As a teacher, we need to prepare a power point presentation as a guide for the lesson.

ANNOTATION:
Seminars and trainings in this time of pandemic indeed a big help for the teachers. Especially the
utilization of gadgets and social media platform. It helps us to improve our professional growth. Most of the
topics during INSET were about the use of technologies, I applied it by making more interactive supplementary
materials for our pupils. I am also learning innovative strategies and techniques that will benefit by our pupils’
educational growth even in this a midst of crisis

ANNOTATION:
I attended webinars, LAC Sessions to help me develop my skills and gain more knowledge. Through this I have
learned a lot on different apps, technologies, strategies and approaches that are applicable on our new
normal set up.
Reflective Essay:
This collection of work reflects my abilities and achievements in my performance this year through
this LDM Course. Despite of the crisis (Covid-19) that we are facing, I strive hard to educate and reach out the
parents and learners to ensure that their learning will not be compromised by the pandemic. Through social
media platforms, learning becomes easier and more accessible to every learner.
To continue my professional growth and development, I have been attending various seminars and
trainings that are helpful in my career. It improves my teaching strategies in times of this hardship.
Over-all this Practicum Portfolio does not only reflect my efforts and my performances but also, I
earned knowledge and experiences in promoting and ensuring that quality education is achieved.

In this time of pandemic, social media platforms are very vital. In our school, we usually used Google
meet, messenger, facebook and alike to communicate. It helps us to disseminate the information
and submit all the reports easily. It is also the approach where to raise our concerns and issues about
our pupils’ educational growth. We attended professional activities to continuously acquire
significant insights to improve our teaching and learning abilities even in this pandemic. Those
pictures shown above that us, teachers are dedicated and passionate in our profession.
