Domain 1. Phonological Awareness: Refers to working with rhymes, words, syllables, and onsets and rimes. Learner should be able to identify words, the number of syllables in each word
and detect the beginning of sound (onset) and ending sound (rime) in the words they hear or read.

The table shows the progress of the five (5) selected students under 4Rs
Approach and Project CNR. At the start of the reading program in
4 August, students only got a 1 point scale in domain 1 which means they
did not meet the criteria of the domain assessed. A slight progress was
reflected in September, October and November. In December, the
3 selected students reached the 3 point scale which further suggests

improvements in their phonological awareness.

Domain 2 Book and Print Knowledge: Refers to knowing and being acquainted with books and how print works.

Approach and Project CNR. At the start of the reading program in
4 August, students only got a 1 point scale in domain 2 which means they
did not have much knowledge in print works. In September, October
and November, students reached the 2 point scale which suggests a
3 slight progress in the domain assessed. In December, they got the 3

point scale which showed that the students gained adequate knowledge

pronunciation. A little progress was depicted in October, November

suggests that the students did not have the ability to read texts with
speed, accuracy and proper expression. In December, they reached the
