Instructions:
1. Look for 5 different RARE rocks in your surroundings. Each rock should NOT look the same.
2. Take a photo of each of your rock and insert the photo in the table below on the Rock column.
3. Fill out the table by completing the other 3 columns.
a. Observable characteristics – describe the rock that you have found based on its
observable characteristics like texture, presence of other materials embedded on the
rock, presence of layers and other characteristics based on the discussion.
b. Where did you find it? – describe the place where you found the rock; description
should be relevant to the discussion.
c. Classification – Classify the rock that you have retrieved whether it is Igneous,
Sedimentary or Metamorphic Rock.
d. Processes: What are the processes does your rock underwent to form in that
classification?
4. Your output can either be encoded or handwritten. If you opt to have it handwritten, make sure
that it is readable.
5. Upload your answer sheet in the Google Classroom on or before the deadline.
