Day Specific Activity/ Assigned Task
Today is the first day of the internship, and we are to observe and cover an event in

Dagupan City’s Museum. The flag-raising ceremony started at 8:00 AM. It was also live

via LGU’s PIO Facebook page. After the flag ceremony, we observe, and do interview
19-July-2021
Mayor Lim for some updates about the City’s happenings. I was assigned to document the
INTERNSHIP
whole event up to the interview. Right after the event, our department head Mr. Cardinoza
DAY 1
give us an orientation on how we would work for the office. In our group chat with Sir

Cardinoza, we are to put up and manage our own Facebook Page. And after we bid

goodbyes, we distributed the tasks equally and worked on them at home.

It's my second day of work immersion, and a gloomy Tuesday wake me up. Our task for

today is to continue working on the Facebook Page. And upon decision, we have our top 3
20-July-2021 picks for our page title. We also prepared everything; our page's descriptions, details, and

some other information, and our take-home write-ups. I was assigned to create a logo and
INTERNSHIP
DAY 2 templates for the page's circulation of postings. I assisted Mary Joy and Alain in keeping

the files organized, placing it all in order in the drive, and preparing for tomorrow's

approval.
All of the proposals are approved by Sir and are ready for scheduled posting. We make

ourselves more active and brainstorm for other things that we can share. And since it is in
21-July-2021 time of COVID-19 Pandemic, infographics are one of the most effective ways to share

information that is not dull but as well-pleasing to the viewers' eyes. And as the team's
INTERNSHIP
DAY 3 editor, I started working it out, and we research every detail for inputs. At night, I

prepared the publication materials needed for posting tomorrow and made it ready for

approval and posting.

22-July-2021 On this day, we published our first infographic about the health protocols of the COVID-

19 Pandemic. Aside from working on the infographics, I decided to scroll up on

INTERNSHIP
DAY 4 Facebook, searching for a newsworthy and shareable post for the page, researching the

latest news and ideas on how we would improve our postings, and build more agenda for
news sharing. We also explore the latest happenings and projects of the City. Later that

day, Sir Gabriel invited us to come and cover the event tomorrow of DICT Sec. Gringo

Honasan at City Library at the City Astrodome with Mayor Marc Brian Lim.
It's a heavy rainfall morning that wakes me. Weather alerts are popping-up our Facebook

timelines. Our teammate, Joy, shared to the page the latest weather update very early in

the morning. And upon hearing the news, it came to us that Dagupan City is in a deep
23-July-2021 flood in some areas. Sir Gabriel also gave us a heads-up of the situation and it would be

hazardous for us to pursue through the event. And so we decided to cover the flood
INTERNSHIP
DAY 5 update. Jeanie and Tyrone took some pictures and videos of the flooded areas, and we

created visuals and captions for the flood alert postings. And since it is Friday, one of our

plans is to make something knowledgeable and entertaining. We decided to post weekly

trivia of the day. That's it for my first week of internship, happy weekend!
