Liebherr’s Scope of Supply as per Contract

Supervisory service for flatness measurement of adaptor flange for
two (4) mandays per Crane (NOTE: Measuring tool is not within Liebherr’s
scope of supply).
Supervisory services for Crane(s) installation, start-up,
commissioning and final adjustments will be provided for a period of twenty
five (29) man-days per Crane, up to max. ten (10) working hours per man-
day, including and based on one (1) journeys for one (1) engineer. This shall
be accepted by Purchaser.
The cost for travelling, daily allowances, meals and accommodation are
included. Any man-day not utilised during the installation phase shall be
used for training or test run services during this contractual execution.
Training and technology transfer will be provided for two (2)
operators conducted by one (1) experienced and qualified trainer/service
engineer on subject cargo crane(s) after commissioning for a period of two
(2) working days per crane and of up to a max of ten (10) hours per days.
The cost for travelling, daily allowances and accommodation,
commissioning tools, working clothes, life insurance/medical insurance for
the export within this period are included.
Afore mentioned period of supervisory services for start-up and
commissioning of cargo cranes is deemed to be enough for mechanical

For the avoidance of doubt the parties agree that Contractor’s scope of
supply does not include being without limitation:
Welding of pedestal adaptor onto pedestal extension, gantry or
any other steel structure and measuring of flange flatness according to
installation manual; or in the event of flange interface to Purchaser supply
tightening of bolts and calculation of tightening forces
Pedestal extension/column complete including ladders, lighting,
entrance doors;
Installation of pedestal complete onto jetty plinth/interface
Jetty plinth/interface (design and construction), foundation and
foundation bolting, if applicable
Boom rest (design and production) including lashing of boom and
hook, if applicable;
Lifting appliances and/or the necessary control devices other than
those stated under LIEBHERR’s scope of supply;
Main and additional power supply to the slip-ring
collector/terminal box which is located in the upper section of the pedestal;
Generator/Transformer/Cable Reel/Terminal box/Shore power
supply cabling and connection;
Provision of welding apparatus, craneage, scaffolding, electricity,
water, compressed air, test weights for overload test, skilled and unskilled
personnel during installation phase;
Certifying authority fees for commissioning certification after
delivery ex works;

erection, commissioning & overload test of cranes, however subject to the
availability of prerequisites for installation and erection which are to be
prepared before the installation and erection of cranes. In case the above
mentioned period is not enough, Liebherr shall be responsible for increasing
the number of man-days adequately to complete the installation of the
Goods to put the Goods into operation, however extra man-days (assistance)
required due to reasons beyond Liebherr’s control (e.g. waiting time, no
power supply, etc.) will be charged at EURO 930,00 per man-day (may be
subject to adjustment). The costs for travelling, daily allowances, meals and
accommodation are included. A one-hundred percent (100%) surcharge
based on the daily rates applies and will be payable by the PURCHASER for
any overtime, weekends and public holidays work requested to be performed
by the PURCHASER.
Final painting of pedestal adaptor, pedestal extension;
Fire extinguishers;
Provision and filling of hydraulic oil;
Co-ordination of Overload test of cranes
Mechanical erection of crane, reeving of ropes, connection of all
cables to the slip-ring collector, cable glands and their holes of slip ring
collector plate, touch up paint, greasing, cleaning after installation, etc.
The Purchaser shall provide for these pre-requisites..

Purchaser shall request Liebherr’s service engineers’ assistance giving at

least three (3) weeks prior written notice.

Classification Society: Liebherr Works Certificate to state that the

Cranes are built in accordance with Lloyd’s Register Shipping (LRS)
Rules.
