MODULE 5

Day 1 – 1st Activity Shapes and Color

Procedure:
1. Present Pictures of Different shapes. Ask the child to identify the shapes: circle/bilog,
triangle/trianggulo, square/kwadrado, oblong/obalo
2. Show the child how to draw different shapes of different sizes.
3. Let the child draw different shapes of different sizes.
4. Let the child colour the shapes and remind him/her to colour within line boundaries.

Day 2 – 2nd Activity Color Match

Procedure:
1. Place the different colour cards face down in a box.
2. Place the corresponding picture of object with colours in the shoe box/tray.
3. Let the child get the colour card from the box and match it with the corresponding picture of object of
the same colour in the shoe box/tray.

Day 3 – Building a Center

Procedure:
1. Introduce the activity to the child which is “Building a Center” through the use of a small box.
2. Cover the box with a construction paper. Cut out a triangle shape. Then make a roof out of carton or
cardboard.
3. Cut-out small rectangle for the door and small square for the window.
4. Paste the cut-out rectangle and squares on the box.

Day 4 – Sounding of Letter Oo

Day 5 – Telling a Story

“Si Lito kag si Kiko”

1. Present the title of the story then ask what he/she thinks about the story.
2. Present the questions to be answered.

 Si Lito kag si Kiko

Malipayon nga nagalakat si Lito pakadto sa eskwelahan. Pag-abot sa hulotklasehan, dali-dali nga
nagkuha sang lapis kag papel si Lito kag nag-umpisa sa pagdrowing. Amo ina ang iya ginakahiligan. Si
Kiko naman, ulihi sa pag-abot sa hulot-klasehan. Masami sia ginatuyo kag wala nagapamati sa klase.
Wala man sia abyan sa hulot-klasehan.

Isa ka adlaw, samtang nagaobra si Lito sang iya hilikuton, malipayon niya ngagin agda si Kiko
nga magdrowing sang ila paborito nga prutas.”Kiko, dali diri magdrowing kita”. Napukaw ang atensyon
ni Kiko, nagkuha sia sang lapis kag papel. Didto sia nag-umpisa sa pagdrowing sang iya paborito nga
prutas. “Lito, Lito lantawa ang akon drowing.” Kag malipayon nga nagtulukay sanday Lito kag Kiko.
Didto nag-umpisa ang pagkahilig ni Kiko sa pagdrowing. Didto man nag-umpisa ang ila pag-abyanay.
Makita gid ang pagbag-o ni Kiko kag nagdamo pa ang iya mga abyan sa hulot-klasehan.

Mga Pamangkot:
1. Sin-o ang mga karakter sa istorya?

2. Ano ang hilig nga obrahon ni Lito?

3. Paano nangin mag abyan sanday Lito kag Kiko?

SABTAN ANG MGA PALAMANGKUTANON:

1. Sa pag-obra ninyo sang modyul, ano ang imo naobserbahan sa imo bata?

2. Masarangan bala sang imo bata ang pag-obra sang mga hilikuton sa modyul?

MODULE 6

Module 6 – Sub-Theme: I Have Feelings

Day 1 – Feelings
Procedure:
1. Present the different faces showing the emotions when happy, sad, angry and scared/afraid
2. Discuss with the child the situations when the mother/father is sad, angry and afraid and the reasons
why.
3. Let the child say: “I feel because .

Day 2 – People/things who makes me happy

1. Look for a picture of person/things that makes you happy.
2. Cut it out and paste it in a cardboard
3. Glue a stick (6inches long) at the back of the picture
4. Let the child present his/her finished work by saying this is it makes me happy
because

Day 3 – Similarities and differences of letters

1. Cut out group of letters and paste it in a cardboard to make a flash card.
2. Show a flash card containing letters that are similar and different.
3. Ask which letters are similar PMP
4. Do the same with the second/third/fourth/fifth group of letters.
5. Show again the first group of letters PMP. Ask: Which letter is different.

Day 4 – What Makes Me Sad?

1. Let the child look for a picture of events in a magazines, books, newspaper that make them sad.
2. Cut it out and collect them. Paste it in a piece of bond paper or scrap book. Compile and make it as a
picture book.
3. Ask questions: When you were sad, what did you do? Who gave you comfort? Do you still feel sad
now?

Day 5 – Drawing lines & shapes within boundaries of People’s face

1. Let the child draw shapes and lines inside the blank face.
2. Colour the shapes and lines
3. Ask the child: What have you discovered about your work? Could you still see the emotions of the
face?
