A. Reviewing previous lesson or Lesson presentation through a group activity. The class will be
presenting the new lesson divided into a group of four.
ELICIT Instruction: Arrange the different barangays in the municipality of
Romblon using a cyclic diagram to create a sample tour
map/road map from Barangay Sablayan to the Romblon town
proper and vice versa.

Situation-Analysis
Situation:
During the last year of you primary schooling, you work so hard
and study well. You become passionate and determined to
graduate with honors. And so you did. As a reward your parents
bought you a cellular phone. Amazed by its features, you
excitedly installed it with Facebook and Messenger. You are very
happy and become fond of using the application until you’ve
become friends with a lot of people. One of them is Harold, who
lives in Korea. One day, Harold was given the chance to visit
Romblon. He does not have any idea about the place. Your
phone rang! It was him. He sent you a message. (His message
says, “I sent you a letter. It was located below the arm tablet.
Would you mind hearing it? Thank you.”)

Using the road map from Barangay Sablayan to the Romblon
town proper, answer the following questions:
1. How far would the Kipot Falls (Brgy. Sablyan) be from the
town proper if Harold and his friends will take the route
that will pass through Li-O if every barangay is exactly 5
km away from each other?
2. What if Harold and his friends took the route passing
through the Bonbon Beach (Brgy. Lonos) first before
going to Kipot Falls (Brgy. Sablyan)? How far would they
have travelled?
3. Suppose Harold and his friends is at Botanical Garden at
Brgy. Palje. From there, they decided to travel on
separate directions and will just meet at the town proper.
Half of them went to a trip passing through Brgy. Lonos
while the others passed through Brgy. Sablayan. Who do
you think will arrive at the town proper first?
4. What can you say about the directions and the distances
travelled by Harold and his friends using the third
situation?

Absolute War Card Game (Integration to Statistics: Range and Median)
Instruction: The students will group themselves according to their
groupings on the first activity.
Directions: This game will use improvised cards with absolute
values ranging from 1-26. Each group will be dealt with three
cards but can opt to draw two more cards every round. Cards will
be arranged from lowest to highest. Those group with highest
middlemost absolute values will keep their cards. At the end of
the game, group who kept most number of cards will win.
