RESOLUTION NO. 07
Series 2021

“RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RECOGNITION OF STO. NINO, NATIONAL

HIGHSCHOOL AS INCLUSIVE EDUCATION CENTER IN THE DIVISION OF
CAGAYAN.”

WHEREAS, the 1987 Constitution provides that the State shall establish, maintain and support
a complete, adequate and integrated system of education relevant to the needs of
the people and society and to establish and maintain a system of free public
education in the elementary and high school levels;

WHEREAS, it further provides that the State shall protect and promote the right of every
citizen to quality education at all levels and shall take the appropriate steps to
make such education accessible to all;

WHEREAS, despite all these and other mandates of the State as provided for by the highest
law of the land and other pertinent laws, it is still an ideal endeavor yet to be
realized because of the difficulty of the citizens in accessing secondary education;

WHEREAS, this endeavor aims to prepare persons with disabilities in the pursuit of higher
education towards empowerment and independent living;

WHEREAS, education is an integral part of development and a properly trained population is

the strongest backbone of a progressive community;

NOW THEREFORE, on joint motion of all members present, the Sangguniang Bayan,

RESOLVES as it is hereby RESOLVED to pass a resolution SUPPORTING THE

RECOGNITION OF STO. NINO, NATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL AS INCLUSIVE
EDUCATION CENTER IN THE DIVISION OF CAGAYAN.”
RESOLVED FURTHER to manifest the municipal government’s commitment to fully support
this worthy endeavor.

RESOLVED FURTHER to submit this resolution to Hon. Vicente G. Pagurayan, Municipal

Mayor for his approval.

RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be furnished to the office of the
Principal, Sto Niño National High School; the Public School District Supervisor
(PSDS), Sto. Niño District, Sto. Niño, Cagayan; the School’s Division
Superintendent, Division of Cagayan, Tuguegarao City for their information,
indorsement and representation.
