“RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING A NEW DOCTORS- TO THE- BARRIO

FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH THROUGH THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR,
RIO L. MAGPANTAY, MD, PHSAE, CESO III UPON THE REQUEST OF DR. ETHEL
P. SIMEON, MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICER DUE TO EXPANDED HEALTH
PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT”

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Sto. Niño comprises thirty one (31) barangays in which some
barangays are hard to reach due its natural terrain and by crossing the Chico and Cagayan rivers;

WHEREAS, the municipality is improving and expanding its health facilities, programs, and
services;

WHEREAS, the former DTTB resigned from office last August 2020;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Health Officer requested a new Doctors- to- the- Barrio (DTTB) to
be able to efficiently deliver the health services to the far flung barangays of the municipality;

NOW THEREFORE, on joint motion of all members present, the Sangguniang Bayan,

RESOLVES as it is hereby RESOLVED to pass a resolution earnestly requesting a new

Doctors- To – The – Barrio from the Department Of Health through the Regional Director, Rio
L. Magpantay, MD, PHSAE, CESO III upon The Request of Dr. Ethel P. Simeon, Municipal
Health Officer due to expanded health programs and services of the municipal government.
