This documented is intended to detect the remaining thickness of pressure piping, boiler or power piping
and made of carbon steels using MFL Equipment with Required probes – Portable, Dry Cloth.

2. LOADING OF MFL TESTING EQUIPMENT:

 During Loading the equipment and accessories Leather hand glove shall be worn.

 Ensure all equipment is stack away from the edge of the lorry bed and secure properly to prevent
falling.

 Ensure provide training on safe handling & manual lift of material to the workforce.

 Leather hand glove shall be worn when perform the entire work.

3. SITE SURVEY TO DO MFL TESTING:

 Ensure the proper planning.

 Ensure the isometric drawing with site layout plan is in place.

4. MOBILIZATION OF MFL TESTING EQUIPMENT INSIDE WORKING AREA:

 Valid license, are required in Client.

 All personnel shall complete Client SIC training prior to enter the site.

 All personnel to obtain security pass prior to entry.

 Ensure that all the workers had sufficient rest prior starting the task.

 Ensure authorized an trained person involved in the live plant work are allowed to enter in the
area.

 General Work Permit shall be applied by Permit requestor and approved prior to start the work.

 Ensure that the entire worker had sufficient rest prior commencing the task.

 Safety glasses, hard hat, pants, protective industrial products hand gloves, safety boots, Safety
Goggle, Ear Plug as per Client PPE safety requirement.

 Driver shall follow the Client road safety regulation 15km/h on the road in the plant area.

 Ensure pickup / van operator shall obtain valid license during the entire work.

 Metal wheels choke for vehicle in place.

 Valid Fire Extinguisher with stands. (9kg, ABC type) for vehicle in place.

 No vehicle is allowed for parking except for short delivery during working hour. Working hour.

 Workers shall bring along their individual refill water bottle.

5. UNLOADING OF MFL TESTING EQUIPMENT TRANSFER TO THE SITE LOCATION:

 During Loading / unloading the equipment and accessories Leather glove shall be worn.

 Ensure all equipment is stack away from the edge of the pickup bed and secure properly to
prevent falling.

 Leather hand glove shall be worn when perform the entire work.

6. MFL INSPECTION AT WORKING ON THE GROUND LEVEL:

 Verify the cable is in good condition.

 Insufficient lighting will be informed to the concern supervisor.

 Ensure Gas tester done before carryout job.

 During the job 4 in one gas monitor available on site.

 Ensure all the obstruction materials shall remove from site immediately.

 Ensure the area is free from all obstruction materials prior to start work.

 Remind worker report to supervisor worker not feeling well or dizzy.

 Insufficient lighting will be informed to the concern supervisor.

 Ensure the proper lighting before entering the site.

 No proper lighting, no work activities.

7. MFL TESTING INSPECTION AT WORKING ON THE (WORKING AT HEIGHT)

 Ensure workers maintain communication with each other during passing of material

 Always stay away from line of fire when passing on different level of scaffold platform.

 Use tool bag to carry the equipment by using rope.

 Work Permit & WAH Form is issued and approved by relevant parties.

 The workers must complete the WAH course before entering to the work site.

 Hook up SRL at/ above waist level.

 100% tie-off at strong anchorage point.

 Harness & SRL to be inspected with tag and check prior to use.

 Ensure proper donning of harness and SRL by workers (Buddy system checks prior to use).

8. LOADING OF MFL QUIPMENT:

 During Loading the equipment and accessories Leather hand glove to be worn.

 Ensure all equipment is stack away from the edge of the lorry bed and secure properly to prevent
falling.

 Ensure provide training on safe handling & manual lift of material to the workforce.

 Leather hand glove shall be worn when perform the entire work.

9. HOUSEKEEPING:

 Housekeeping is a must "Before, During & End" of work day.

 Materials must never be left on the ground but stacked neatly on stillage and hard barricaded.

 Work area must be swept clean of all times.
