MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION AND TRACEABILITY

1 PURPOSE.

To establish a procedure to assure identification of materials in receiving inspection and during the
construction process, to demonstrate that the products are indicated, according to the characteristics
required by project specifications.

2 SCOPE

This procedure applies to all materials for fabricate Code Items.

3 RESPONSABILITIES

Quality Department: Will be responsible for verifying the areas involved in the construction process, for
identification or traceability, and will verify that the identification given to the materials being
transferred in an appropriate manner during the manufacturing process and the material used is in
accordance with the requirements and / or specifications of which will belong

Warehouse Department : Must register to identify with coded mark, having to monitor that the materials
or equipment, to prevent them being lost or are covered during storage. Be worth if it is needed,
controlling its release from storage. Delivery only material released by the Quality Department.

Production Department: Must know the identification of the material or equipment received from
warehouse and is responsible for transferring the care and identification, through its personnel, all parts
and subparts that the material is divided to form the final product.

4 PROCEDURE

The identification shall consist in controlling their numbers in the form of individual materials or
equipment received. Any material or equipment shall be relieved of its inspection requirements, to
provide adequate tracking phases of the construction process to the location of the material or equipment
identified in the store.

This identification will be marked by means that are not damaged, such as paint or indelible mark once
(except for stainless steel materials). The identification must be transferred to all the parts or subparts to
divide the effect of the process and should follow up on identification to its final location within the
finished product.

The identification system for the material is to indicate for each material the number of purchase order
with the number of the item and recorded in exhibit 5 Material Examination Report and transfer to
exhibit 13 Code Materials Log.
