This document is valid for all scrubbers equipped with HYDAC Auto filters.

Modification

Pressure surges occur during the back-flushing process that could damage
the pipeline system or downstream units. This can be reduced by throttling
the flow of exhaust air with the aid of the exhaust air needle valve attached
to the back-flushing valve.

The closing time of the back-flushing valve can be changed by the exhaust flow control
valve. The exhaust flow control valve is located on the solenoid valve on of the back-
flushing valve.

Additionally, instructions from the Maker according to the back-flushing valve mounting
should be followed.
