III.Rationale
The Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 (RA 9155) mandates
that the Department of Education (DepEd) enact policies and mechanisms
through which the delivery of quality basic education may be continuously
improved. Chapter I, Section 7 (5) includes among the responsibilities of
DepEd across all governance levels the undertaking of “educational research
and studies” that will serve as one of the bases for necessary reforms and
policy development.
In this connection, Villa Verde Elementary School continuously
supports and proactively participates in the division’s call for result-driven
and fact-based research and innovation paper.

 IV. Objectives
 To document strategies, interventions and innovations conducted
in the school level to improve the teaching and learning and help
improve the educative process.
 To promote the spirit and culture of educational research.
 To improve the quality and quantity of research and innovation
papers in the school.

V. Significance

School research is important for us to find solutions to problem

arising in the classroom or school. It underpins professional learning of
knowledge, skills and understanding. It helps us connect with sources of
information and networks of professional support.

Title Understanding the Research Process
Description A webinar will be conducted to refresh understanding on
the guidelines of research, research components, and the
research process.
Objective/s This webinar aims to develop understanding on writing
research and encourage them to write research and
innovation proposals.

Title Call for Research and Innovation Proposals

Description An activity advertising submission of research and
innovation proposals to be endorsed to the Schools
Division Office of Quezon City.
Objective/s This aims to convene at least 4 research and innovation
proposals.

Description An online presentation of completed research and
