SUBJECT: FINAL GRADED RECITATION

Grading systems shall always be based on the principle of quality of work done rather
than on percentage points acquired during examinations. For the instructor to test the
student’s mastery towards the subject matter, class recitations may stand as reliable
evidence. This memorandum is to inform everyone that the final graded recitation for
the course GEE 4 Technical Writing is scheduled on December 13, 2021, 10:00am –
12nn via Google Meet.
The graded activity pursuant to the course’ grading system will serve as students’
participation for the subject for the Finals of the First Semester of Academic Year 2021-
2022 which accounts to 15% of the final grade.
The instructor will randomly pick five (5) students to recite during the virtual class and
questions to be thrown are based on their forwarded and uploaded research report on
the Google classroom. The students will be graded according to the metrics prepared
by the instructor. The perfect score is set at 20 points while the passing mark is 14
points. Attached is the grading matrix for the recitation.
Attendance is a must and all participants are advised to log in 15 minutes before the
scheduled meeting time through the link provided by the instructor.
Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this memorandum is desired.
