switched off due to capacity power.
Risk of electric shock!
Observe power-off instructions and discharge wait times (allow at least five
minutes discharge time after the last scan for all involved HV and UDC parts).
Secure the system against unintended switch-on (e.g. block breaker against
switching on and/or mark breaker against switch on).
Ensure via measurements that all voltages are switched off.
Connect the stationary and rotating parts of the gantry to a protective con‐
ductor prior to working in the gantry.
CAUTION

4. Lower the tabletop via vertical service switches down to the U-rails until safety switch
S704 at the spindle nut is deactivated.
The tabletop is now sitting on the U-rails and the weight is released from the
spindle drive.
5. Now activate the safety switch S704 by hand and lower the patient table once more
until the spindle nut has moved towards the spindle motor approx. another centime‐
ter (1/2 inch).
This facilitates removal of the spindle brake and spindle drive assembly.
6. Switch the system to COMP/ON (Computer on) at the control box and switch ON serv‐
ice switch S2 in the PDC.
H2 lamp in PDC is ON and the power to the patient table is OFF
The entire spindle drive has to be replaced, if the patient table lift movement is blocked
due to mechanical problems with the safety catch (part of the spindle nut).
