- Based on the assessment that I did, I have a lot of developing areas. I have a lot of
stuff that needed to work on to be a good entrepreneur in the future. On the other side,
I also have strengths that help me be a good entrepreneur. I know my goals, and I plan
on things, so they'll go on smoothly. Though I know that sometimes things don't go as
planned, that's okay because that is a part of being an entrepreneur.

Learning Activity Sheet # 2
Activity Title: Interview
Learning Target/s:
a.) To identify a successful entrepreneur’s entrepreneurial competencies based on
what is already manifested or what needs to be improved.
b.) To determine the differences and similarities in the result of one’s assessment
to an entrepreneur personal assessment and success in business.
Interview a successful online entrepreneur related to food business thru text messages/
calls or online chat. Focus your questions on his/her entrepreneurial competencies and
identify what competencies he/she already have? And competencies he/she still needs
to improve? (Refer to the list of competencies on LAS 1).
What I already have? What I still need to improve?

• Opportunity Seeking - • Risk-Taking – The entrepreneur

• Persistence said that all businesses are risk-
• Commitment to work contract takers, but she also said that she
• Demand for efficiency and quality still needs to improve on some
• Goal Setting things that are hard for her to
• Information seeking decide and, she’s scared of taking
• Systematic Planning and Monitoring the risk sometimes.
• Persuasion and Networking
• Self-Confidence

PROCESS QUESTIONS:
1. What are the similarities and differences in the result of your assessment of
competencies from the data you have gathered from a successful entrepreneur?

While I was interviewing the entrepreneur (a.k.a my mom) I, noticed some similarities that
we have in common. Like we are passionate about what we are doing. Because to be a
successful entrepreneur, you must be passionate about everything that you do to give the
best out of yourself. But we also have a lot of differences as you can see. She has a lot
of knowledge or strength that she knows in business, while I have a lot of things to
improve on.

2. Why do you think some entrepreneurs became successful in food business?

- Most entrepreneurs are successful because they have this idea in mind and keep it like
that. They make it come true and know how to put it all together. They have something
that others don't know about themselves. They keep their ideas and put them to action.
They're also committed to their work. Their passion is no joke when it comes to business.
They know that they have rivals and need to outcast themselves to stand out from the
rest.

Conclusions:

- If you enter entrepreneurship, you should prepare yourself for a lot of things. Keep in
mind that not all the money you have earned will go to you because the money goes
around. You should know how to value everything to be a successful entrepreneur. But
don't forget to have fun and take a break when needed.
