Language teaching methods, and presentation, audio tools and games such as Kahoot will be used.

Prezi will be used to present numbers and activities related to this topic. This presentation will be delivered by
the teacher, but in some pages, students are expected to participate in related activities. First teacher will
show the students numbers from 1-100 by choosing specific numbers. After doing a few activities with the
students, the extra practice named ‘’Writing the number’’ that the students will work on individually and do
peer check will also be reflected in the Prezi presentation.
Powtoon will be used to create introduction of topic to give an idea about what students will learn in the class.
Also, the video will include one question such as ‘’how could you say this number?’’ so that students will think
about the topic before the teacher give details.

During the evaluation of writing the numbers, teachers shouldn’t intervene the activity if students do not ask
for help. If the mistake is not a major one such as writing seventeen instead of seventy minor spelling mistakes
can be ignored in so that students’ self confidence wouldn’t decrease.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Firstly, before this unit students will be asked to watch introduction video of the whole unit and the numbers
topic in the website. When they come to class, they will watch those two videos again with their friends. Then,
teacher will repeat the question in the numbers’ introduction video and allow volunteers to give their answers
with explanations. After introducing the concept in 15 minutes teacher will show how to write and tell numbers
till 100 by giving some specific number examples and do 5 more example along with student till the end of the
first lesson. In the beginning of the next lesson students will be asked to write the 20 different number they will
see in practice activity. After 10 minutes, they will check their answers and give feedback each other in groups
that the teacher assigned. In the last 15 minutes they will make an Q&A session, in which they can ask their
question to their teachers, and check the answers with their teacher by voluntarily participating the answering
activity. As the lesson content will be presented in Prezi, teacher should also keep ready the back up material
provided in website in case any technologic problem occurs during the class. Backup material will include the
written version of the Prezi; therefore, teacher can write them on the board easily and provide practice
materials by printing (if available) or writing numbers on the board and ask students to write them on the table
during the Q&A session.

google form will be used as general evaluation.

Explanation
At this stage mistakes should be corrected immediately before they start the new unit.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Firstly, students will watch the introduction video before coming to class. The question at the end of the video
and their prior knowledge about the daily routine (to assess how much information that they remember from
4th grade) will be discussed. Then, students will be presented related vocabulary and sentence structure of the
talking about daily routine with telling the time in Prezi. Prezi presented will also include the related terms for
matching activity, role play activity and instructions for group activity. After, they will do google form activity
individually to practice sentence and terms. In the second lesson, they will prepare a routine sketch using at
least three of the visuals given in the Prezi presentation, and they will also prepare and ask their friends 3
questions about their routines and times. Then they will interview at least 2 other groups and find the answers
to these questions. Also, they will answer the questions of other group members. During this activity they will
fill the charts for this activity and in the last 10 minutes they will present their findings to the whole class. In the
last lesson of this unit they will use the website to cover up the whole content with their teacher and they will
present their own daily routine, given as homework at the end of 6 th lesson, to the class. They also give
feedback to each other’s performances. Students can also submit their google form homework by writing it on
paper. The teacher should have the printout of the backup material to prevent the mishaps to be experienced
during the lesson from hindering the lesson. If possible, they should distribute the copy of the paper to the
students, but they can still continue the lesson by writing on the board.
