Activity 1. CLASSROOM FACILITIES MATRIX

Facilities Description

Teacher’s table The teacher’s table is located at the back, it is

a good area for monitoring their learners.
Beside the teacher's table there’s a cabinet to
keep some information for their students'
activities and things.

Wall displays The wall displays in the classroom is like an

abstract, health corner tarpaulin, and there’s a
bulletin board that can post some
announcements and documentation for their
activities. Also, have motivational quotes to
inspire their learners which is very attractive
and pleasant to the eyes and mind.

Learner’s desks There are numbers of learner’s desks. It was

arranged by one sitting apart. The learner’s
desks are well arranged and they can really
see their teacher while discussing in front.

Blackboard Blackboard is located in front of students or I

can say the normal place where this
blackboard is really to be installed. Also,
even in the back can clearly see what is
written or posted on the board.

Learning materials/Visual Aids The learning materials they used were chalk,
laptop and books and other materials used for
teaching.

Television The classroom has their own television, this is

used for reporting or playing educational

movies that will surely help their learners for
additional knowledge.

Sanitize Area The sanitized Area is located at the front in

the entrance door. Teachers ensure the safety
of their learners, Due to this pandemic.

Canteen/ Cafeteria ✓ The canteen is

located in the corridor
that can easily be
seen by new students.
The canteen is clean
and arranged
properly. This is
useful for the students
to not go outside on
campus to buy their
food.

Medical Center ✓ The medical center is

located opposite the
DOMRAC building.
The medical clinic is
where students who
are sick go there until
their parents attend
his/her child. And
also some teachers
and staff go there to
get some medicine if
they are not feeling
well.

Reading Center ✓ The reading center is

located on the second
floor of the principal
's office . Most
students go there to

they want a quiet area
to read. This is useful
for students to think
carefully and create a
good output for their

Computer Laboratory ✓ The computer

laboratory is located
in the middle of the
electronic building
and the grade 9
building. And this is
used for teacher’s if
they have a meeting
or discussion.

Faculty room ✓ The faculty room is

located outside of the
dean office and all
teacher’s go there to
attend meetings and if
they need a
discussion for the
improvement of their
teaching and school,
but sometimes they
use the computer
laboratory for
meeting

Comfort Room ✓ Almost More than 20

comfort room
buildings are used
and this is so clean
and safe to use.

Library ✓ The library is located

on the 2nd floor of
the school head
office. The students
use this to explore
and gain knowledge
for their lesson and

HE practical house ✓ The HE practical

house is located in
the back of the junior
high building and
front of the senior
high building. The
HE practical house is
clean and have a
complete materials
they use when they
do their hands-on
activities but in the
HE practical houses
they used for teaching
and hands-on activity

TVL Rooms ✓ There are 6 tvl majors

and they are HE,
SMAW,DOMRAC,
Automotive,
Drafting, and
building construction.
And their facilities
are complete and
helpful for their
students for their
hands-on activities.

My Analysis
How do the school and the laboratory rooms in particular impact on the learning of the
students on going to school? What are your conclusions?

The facilities of the school and the laboratory rooms are greatly affected to all students
that go to school because if the school is improper and lacks materials in laboratory rooms, some
students will not attend their class and they are not motivated because they can’t learn well. I
therefore conclude that if the students are not comfortable or satisfied with a certain school and
laboratory rooms, they will get lazy to go to school and take some laboratory activities, but if the
student is comfortable or satisfied with the facilities of the school they motivate them to attend
their class and go to school to learn.

Activity 3. MY REFLECTION

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why?

Yes, because the school environment is so very accessible and their facilities are well
maintained. And their classroom is in good condition which motivates all both learners and
teachers for assessment learning.

The school is conducive, because all their facilities are complete and they ensure that all
students can learn and help them to gain more knowledge and skills and also to help students to
easily understand their subject matter.

3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?

The classroom is conducive to learning because it has complete facilities with proper
chairs, functioning electric fans, and other facilities that can help the students to learn and
motivate them to study well.

4. In the future, how you can accomplish your answer in number 3?

For now, I will study hard to become an effective teacher soon to my learners and I'll do
my best to learn more so that I give a high quality of education to all my students.

I’ve learned that every student has their own ability and reaction to their environment so
that teachers should be complex and flexible to teach so that all learners can motivate themselves
to study and some students did not leave behind their activities.

My Portfolio

Write your personal illustration of an effective school environment competitive school

environment

My personal illustration of an effective school environment that is structurally built is a

strong and clean external and internal school environment and classrooms. In the classroom,
their conducive learning has many charts, posters, sayings and inspirational quotes so that
students can motivate them to finish their study and they become eager to learn more. And also
schools should be competitive so that their students can push and teach them to become
independent learners and achieve a high quality of education.

Activity 5. My Reflections
Directions: Write your reflection after doing the observations and after accomplishing the
activities.

In my observation, the school and classroom have complete facilities and they should
ensure the safety of every student using the materials they use. And also the school provides all
the needs of students so that they can motivate them to study and to give every student a good
quality of education.
As a future teacher, i should ensure that my facilities in my classroom should have a
complete so that all my students can comfortable to study and also i put a saying or motivation
quotes to give them a inspirational for learn and to finish their study.
