Course Description:

It is a general approach in understanding the elements of art in the field of visual art and literature. It emphasizes application of skills and techniques in using media and designs of art
work. It is also an understanding of the elements and principles of the written art; it includes an overview of its development from historical to contemporary era.

General Objectives Course Requirements


1. learn how to look at, analyze, and describe works of visual art, using such - Quizzes, Major Exams
elements as form, line, color, mass and volume, light, and texture - workshop outputs
2. examine, understand, and enjoy reproductions of significant works of visual art - Major genre output
