Course Description:
The course will focus on the study of Philippines History from the Pre-Spanish, Spanish, American and post-colonial period. It will also focus on how each period shaped the formation
and development of the Philippines as a nation based from the political, social, economic, and religious institutions. In addition the course will include the study of the Filipino people as
a class; a complex social synthesis that made up the current Philippine history.
