Content Standard:
 The learners should be able to demonstrates understanding of non-communicable diseases for a healthy life.
Performance Standard:
 The learners should be able to Consistently demonstrates personal responsibility and healthful practices in the prevention
and control of non-communicable diseases.

I. OBJECTIVES
 Discuss the nature of non-communicable disease.
 Create a slogan, poster making and graphic organizer about non-communicable diseases.
 Inculcate the importance of having healthy lifestyle to prevent non-communicable diseases.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


A. Topic: Common Non-communicable diseases
B. Sub topic: Allergy and Asthma
C. Reference: The 21st Century MAPEH in ACTION for Grade 7 pp. 299-310
D. Materials: chalk and chalkboard, Television and laptop, Metacards:(envelop, manila paper, marker, activity sheets)

A. Preparatory activities

Let’s us all stand for a short prayer. Dear Lord and Father of all,
Job, kindly lead the prayer. Thank you for today. Thank you for ways in which you provide
for us all. For Your protection and love we thank you. Help us
to focus our hearts and minds now on what we are about to
learn. Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write.
