D13A unit injector sleeve and yoke

D13A unit injector sleeve

Concerns:
FM/FH with D13A, up to engine serial number D13A-198960.

Problem:
Compression leakage between unit injector and copper sleeve causing air in fuel.

Reason:
Not sufficient clamping force in combination with high injection pressure.

Action:
An injector sleeve with washer under the unit injector has been introduced in
production from engine serial number D13A-198961.
This type of injector sleeve has two grooves at the top as identification.
If a leakage occurs, engines before break number, it is recommended to replace all
six injector sleeves.
If one yoke is cracked, it is recommended to replace all six yokes with the later version of
approximately 30 mm lower type yoke with dot mark for identification together with all six
sleeves to the new version with washer under the injector.
The later version of the lower approximately 30 mm yoke is identified with A in the picture
below and is not marked with part number.

‫‪A new torque procedure for the unit injector has been introduced together with the introduction‬‬
‫‪of the washer under the unit injector.‬‬
‫‪ D13A‬مخاوف كم حاقن الوحدة‪:‬‬
‫‪ FM / FH‬مع ‪ ، D13A‬حتى الرقم التسلسلي للمحرك ‪.D13A-198960‬‬
‫مشكلة‪:‬‬
‫تسرب ضغط بين حاقن الوحدة وغطاء النحاس مما يتسبب في وجود هواء في الوقود‪.‬‬
‫سبب‪:‬‬
‫ال توجد قوة تحامل كافية‪ c‬مع ضغط الحقن المرتفع‪.‬‬
‫عمل‪:‬‬
‫تم إدخال غالف حاقن مع غسالة أسفل حاقن الوحدة في اإلنتاج من الرقم التسلسلي للمحرك ‪.D13A-198961‬‬
‫يحتوي هذا النوع من غالف الحاقن على أخاديد في األعلى لتحديد الهوية‪.‬‬
‫في حالة حدوث تسرب ‪ ،‬المحركات‪ c‬قبل عدد الكسر ‪ ،‬يوصى باستبدال جميع أكمام الحاقن الستة‪.‬‬
‫إذا تم كسر نير واحد ‪ ،‬فمن المستحسن استبدال جميع النير الستة باإلصدار األحدث من نير من النوع السفلي بحوالي‬
‫‪ 30‬مم بعالمة نقطة للتعرف مع جميع األكمام الستة إلى اإلصدار الجديد بغسالة أسفل الحاقن‪.‬‬
‫يتم التعرف على اإلصدار األحدث من المقرن السفلي الذي يبلغ قطره ‪ 30‬مم تقريبًا بالرمز ‪ A‬في الصورة أدناه ولم‬
‫يتم تمييزه برقم الجزء‪.‬‬

‫‪- Always use lubricated bolts for the torque procedure.‬‬

‫‪- D13A should always have the approximately 30 mm high injector yoke.‬‬
‫‪- Make sure that there is only ONE washer under the unit injector.‬‬
