 Introduction
The Mess Committee of SIBM Hyderabad will be hosting Gourmet Battle 6.0 where
participants will be judged on their presence of mind and their culinary skills. It will be a
one-day event held on February 11th, 2022. This flagship event will be held entirely on
D2C platform where students of eminent institutes and universities will come to compete
 against each other this event will be divided into two rounds. The first round will be a
jigsaw puzzle with a time limit of 10 minutes to complete the jigsaw. The second round
will be a no-cook meal preparation round.
The registrations for the event will be on an individual basis, for the round 1if you qualify
the round 1 you will be transferred to the round 2. These rounds will test the culinary
skills of the participants and their true passion towards food

 Round description
 Round 1- Jigsaw Puzzle
 Each of the participants competing in this round will be given a scrambled photo of a
delicacy
 The competitors will be given a 10-minute time limit to complete the problem.
 An unscrambled picture will be shown to the participants just once for 30 seconds before
the time begins. If the participants are unable to solve the jigsaw puzzle within 5 minutes,
they will be given the unscrambled picture for reference and will be given 5 minutes to
complete it.
 The fastest participant to finish this round will advance to the next round, according to
the judging criteria.
 This will be an elimination round, which will be conducted before the main event day
 Post this round the selected candidates for the next round will be given the information
about the 2nd round by forming a WhatsApp group

 Round 2- Fireless Cooking

 This will be a one-on-one round. This round requires participants to prepare two dishes:
one main course and one dessert or drink.
 The participants are not permitted to use any type of cooking instrument which including
gas, induction, or any other type of cooking.
 The players must come up with an innovative name for their meal or drink.
 Participants will be expected to record the entire process on video.
 They will have 6 hours before the event to send the final photo of their dish and video on
the google form that will be distributed.
 The video shall be limited to 7–8 minutes in length.
 This round will be held at the mess for SIBM-H students who are on campus and
participating, and they must inform the mess committee in advance of the items required
 and pay for the same after acquiring the ingredients. Despite the fact that the event is
taking place offline, the participants must follow the same method and create the video.
