At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

B. identify the difference between descriptive and expository.
C. Apply the knowledge in the given definition of the descriptive and
expository.

III. PROCEDURE
a. Preparatory Activities

o Prayer
o Checking the attendance
o Give the online class rules
 unmute your microphone if the teacher is talking
 Listen attentively
 If you want to answer and ask questions you may
say it by typing in our google meet chat
o Ask someone to recall the last topic

b. Motivation
whole class in guessing the picture given
o What are the pictures trying to say?
o What are your insights about the pictures?
o Assemble the scrambles letters
c. Presentation of Lesson
The teacher presents the topic after the students guessing
what the picture says and after they arrange the scrambled letters.

d. Lesson Proper
o The teacher will present the formal lesson about the first 2
writing style namely the “Descriptive writing and expository
writing.
 Descriptive writing
- is to describe a person, place or thing in such a
way that a picture is formed in the reader's mind.
 Expository writing
-writing that seeks to explain, illuminate or
'expose' (which is where the word 'expository'
comes from). This type of writing can include

seek to explain. Expository writing differs from
other forms of writing, such as fiction and poetry.
In fact, this lesson itself is an example of
expository writing.

o the teacher will give to the students an individual oral
activity in which they are going to answer it on class and
explain the examples why is it belong to expository and
descriptive writing or sentence.
F. Generalization
o The teacher will give the summarization of the two
writing styles.

IV. EVALUATION
o The teacher will give a quiz or assessment each of the
student to evaluate their knowledge if they really
understand such as
