ADVOCACY

Gender Alliance advocates for educating people – especially the youth – about sexual
harassment of any forms towards all genders with the hope to eliminate it and build a safer
community for everyone. The organization recognizes that everyone, men and women, and the
LGBTQ+ community suffer from this societal problem.

ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES

 Build support for all genders.

 Educate the youth and promote awareness.
 Reduce/possibly eliminate sexual harassment.

VISION

Gender Alliance is committed to the belief that all people have the right to live in a
society free from fear and of violence. Sexual Harassment of any form is not an isolated case, but
rather, an individual behavioral expression of a pervasive cultural attitude that tolerated the
same. We envision a community we can call home, and a home that is safe.

MISSION

To illuminate the community with security through knowledge and character

development and use the same to become role models in the society for the current generations
and more to come.

PROPOSED PROGRAMS/SERVICES

1. Utilization of Social Media Platforms

Technology has become a very good vehicle for information dissemination
because of its relevance and convenience. Apparently, most people are into
 technology and are very much introduced to various social media platforms.
Gender Alliance believes that utilizing the Social Media for spreading awareness
and educating people will make this advancement worthwhile. The organization
will create use social media to post, create, and share contents relating to sexual
harassment as these platforms has wider reach. Information can be shared faster,
and more accessible.

2. Symposiums
Gender Alliance believes that though utilizing the online platforms is an
advantage, it will also be more effective if we get out from the screens and
personally face the audience for personal talk. Conducting symposiums that
tackles sexual harassment will also be a program/service to be initiated by this
organization quarterly to different barangays in the community.

These will be done with the help of the organization itself, the members and the
volunteers – to manage the online platforms and conduct on the ground dissemination of
information through symposiums.
