that he is occupying now. From the data that you have gathered, make a simple
introduction about this teacher.

Introduction
I had the opportunity to interview, Ms. Princes Sacramento about her life as a
teacher. Ms. Sacramento has been teaching for almost 10 years, and she stated that
she loves her job. She has her Bachelor’s degree in elementary Education from
Mariano Marcos State University. She’s currently teaching at Medina-Parado
Elementary School as a Teacher 1. Ms. Sacramento motivation for teaching came from
her loving for children. Would bring happiness and a warm feeling for her around
children all day and decided to try teaching, to see if she would like it and she did like it,
in fact she loved it.

INTERVIEW:
Jasmine: Good morning ma’am Princes Sacramento nice meeting you again. Ma’am I
came here today hoping if you could spare some of your time for an interview as a part

know and make an interview about the qualities and professional qualifications of being
a professional teachers.

Ma’am Princes: Yes, sure adeng. You may come in.

Jasmine: Thank you ma’am.

Jasmine: Ma’am what surprised you about teaching?

Ma’am Princes: Nothing surprised me actually because of new trends each and every
year and life moves forward.

Jasmine: Ma’am what best about teaching?

Ma’am Princes: One of the best parts of teaching along with seeing young people grow
and how they grow, and the things that they learn in life is the challenges that
teachers faced every day.

Jasmine: Ma’am what is your the biggest challenged as a teacher ma’am?

Ma’am Princes: My first year as a teacher, because I was coming into unknown. I had
to learn through teaching.

Jasmine: Ma’am what is the most important function as a teacher?

Ma’am Princes: it would be to nurture and provide children with all the provisions that it
takes to learn. Teaching is not an easy job, we put so much effort to molds one
person to see young people grow, and see them succeed in their lives.

Jasmine: Ma’am how about in your teaching strategies? How do you prepare it well?

Ma’am Princes: I always had all my materials together for various activities that I had
for my student and it takes me about twenty minutes to prepare each day’s
lesson plan because I need to get to know of what type of student I might have
and what works or does not work for our particular class.

Jasmine: Ma’am what are your qualities and qualifications as a professional teacher?

Ma’am Princes: There is a saying that 'a teacher is only as good as his knowledge is.
So, knowledge comes first then there are many qualities supposed to be existed
in any teacher. For to me a teacher must be good listener, good communicator,
well mannered, innovative, has a sense of humour, be patient, kind, generous,
passionate, and dedicated in teaching, caring loving and has a smiled face.

As for my teaching qualification, I am a licensed teacher for almost 10 years,

regular in teaching, competent, innovator and ethical.
