ㅇ Title: Kpop Music Video

ㅇ Eligibility: non-Koreans only

ㅇ Details: Create a promotional video by using K-pop artists and their

music.

ㅇ Application deadline: July 15

ㅇ How to participate

1. Create an original K-pop music video.

2. Make sure to use K-pop songs.

3. The video must be approximately five minutes long with

a resolution of 1080p or higher.

4. Multiple people can join.

ㅇ How to upload on YouTube

1. Upload your video on YouTube as “public.“

2. Add the hashtags #talktalkkorea2021 and #kpopmvcover.

3. Add [K-pop Music Video] to the beginning of your video’s title.

4. Add a description of the video in YouTube’s description box.

ㅇ Application process

1. Visit the official website talktalkkorea.or.kr and click “apply.“

2. Select the contest category you want to apply to.

3. FIll out your personal information including name, nationality, email

address, address and phone number.

4. Add the title and description of your work as they appear on

YouTube.

3. Semifinals (32 teams cut to 4): judges’ scores (40%) + voting score (30%) +
YouTube popularity points (30%)

4. Finals: professional judges’ scores (100%)

2. Applying multiple submissions and winning in multiple categories

(with different content) are allowed.

3. One grand prize winner will receive a trip to Korea.

modern interpretations using various musical instruments.

1. Create a music video of contemporary gugak with a modern

interpretation.

2. Be sure to use the basic Korean music rhythms introduced in the

guideline.

3. The music video must run approximately two minutes with a

resolution of 1080p or higher.

4. Multiple people can join.

5. The use of various musical instruments is allowed but singing is not.

ㅇ Details: Show your original Korea-related talent by creating vertical

videos on various platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube

Shorts and TikTok.

ㅇ Application deadline: July 15

ㅇ How to participate

1. Create a challenge video featuring five movements — K-pop, Korean

dance, taekwondo, K-beauty and [K-heart]-- in vertical form.

2. The video must run approximately a minute with a resolution of

1080p or higher.

3. Choose any K-pop song(s).

4. Multiple people can join.

1. Upload your video as “public.“

3. Add a description of your video when uploading.

ㅇ Details: Draw an illustration of any aspect of traditional Korean culture

as desired.

1. Illustrate something about traditional Korean culture your own way.

2. (Paper) Size the illustration at 250mm x 353mm (B4) and scan it.

3. (Computer graphics) Ensure resolution of 2953 x 4169 pixels 300dpi.
