2. Identify the title of that particular movie.

Answer the following questions:

1. What makes a conflict essential to a story?
2. Why it is important to identify the different types of conflict?

Conflict
It is the dramatic struggle between two opposing forces in a story
Types of Conflict
a. Internal
b. External

Internal – it is the struggle that takes place in character’s mind

 Character VS SELF
External – It is the struggle between a character and an outside force

 Character Vs Character – A character struggle with another

character
E.g Protagonist vs Antagonist

 Character VS Society – Character’s struggles with the society in

terms of culture and beliefs, or government

 Character Vs Nature – Characters struggles with a force of Nature

( Natural Disaster, desolation, animals, etc)

Conflict is essential to any story. In literature or in real life, human face

internal and external conflicts. Let’s always remember the HARDER the
CONFLICT, THE GREATER THE TRIUMPH.
