a. Mother bought four 500 ml tetra
packs of milk. How many liters is it?
- Solution:
4 x 500 = 2000
- Since 1000 ml = 1 liter
2000 ÷ 1000 liter is equal to 2 liters
of milk.

b. Lira has to transfer 5 liters of

cooking oil in bottles of 250 ml. How
many bottles will she need?
- Solution:
- Since 1 liter = 1000 ml
5 x 1000 = 5000 then 5000 ÷250 is
equal to 20 bottle are needed.
