I. Phần lý thuyết:
Subject = 1. Danh từ (NOUN)
a. Danh từ số ít (Singular Noun)
- Danh từ không đếm được (uncountable noun) (khi mà ko ghép được với số 1,2,3...)
Ex: food, milk, sugar, salt, fruit ...
- Danh từ theo sau A/ AN ..1 (không ở hình thức số nhiều)
Ex: a book, a box, an apples
Subject = b. Danh từ số nhiều (Plural Noun)
- Danh từ tận cùng là _S / _ES
Ex: books, boxes, apples, ...
c. Cách thành lập danh từ số nhiều: N(số ít) + S/ES N (số nhiều)
*Những danh những danh từ bất quy tắc cần nhớ

- Danh từ số nhiều nhưng hình thức số ít: : *oxen

2. Sự hòa hợp giữa chủ ngữ và động từ (Subject and verb agreement)
* Quy tắc chung
Ssố ít+ Vsố ít nhưng Ssố nhiều + Vsố nhiều
Ex: The student is learning English. The worker works very well.
Ex: The students are learning English. The workers work very well.
* Notes:
Phân biệt: S + Verb ít / Verb nhiều
1. Not only A + but also B
Either A + or B + Vtheo B (vì động từ chia thì theo danh từ gần nó).
Neither A + nor B
2. Both A + and B + V luôn số nhiều
3. A number of + N V (số nhiều) nhưng The number of + N V(số ít)
4. Ving / to V0/each/every V(số ít)
5. Tiền bạc, thời gian, khoảng cách V(số ít)
6. S1 + together with/as well as + S2 … V(chia theo S1)
7. There + BE số ít + Noun số ítt V(số ít)
nhưng There + BE số nhiều + Noun số nhiều V(số nhiều)
8. The + ngôn ngữ -------> Những người nói ngôn ngữ đó.
Ex. The English : những người Anh (số nhiều)
