A. Introduction (5 min.) Presentation of MELC and the learning objectives
The teacher will say:
Maayong Buntag! Andam na ba ang tanan sa atong leksyon karon?
A. Review
Sa niaging adlaw atong nahisgutan ang importansiya sa insaktong
paggamit sa kalibangan. Atong tan-awon kung nakadumdom ba. Asa niini
ang nagpakita ug maayong gawi sa pagkalibang? Butangi kini ug dakong
tsek (√).

B. Presentation of Lesson
Karon atong tun-an ang mga maayong pamaagi ug mga gawi sa pag-
atiman sa atong kaugalingon o good grooming practices.

C. Setting of Standards
Sa dili pa sugdan ang atoa klase karon, aduna pa kitay angay na mga
hinumduman ug kini anaa sa sulod sa “Star Box”.

Ang matag-pahinumdom adunay katumbas na 1 ka puntos kung kini

masunod nimo mentras kita gaklase. Kung kinsa ang adunay daghang
stars nga natigom, aduna usab dako nga puntos sa performance ug regalo
gikan kang Big Brother.
B. ACTIVITY Story Appreciation
A. Before Reading
Aduna akoy basahon na storya. Mahitungod kini sa duha ka batang
babae. Sa dili pa nato basahon ang storya, unsay inyo ikasulti sa
hulagway?

B. During Reading
Magsugod na ta.
(The teacher will read the story while the pupils listen.)
Si Nena ug Si Nene
Ni: Fivie S. Galdiano
Si Nena ug Nene kambal. Pareho sila mga babae ug pareho sad
sila ug hitsura. Pareho sila mahilig sa pareho nga mga butang ug hilig, pero
aduna silay dakong kalainan.
 Si Nene limpyada apan si Nena damak. Adlaw-adlaw si Nene
naligo ug si Nena kaduha ra sa usa ka semana maligo. Si Nene katulo
sa usa ka adlaw magsipilyo sa ngipon apan si Nena usahay dili mag
sipilyo. Si Nene kanunay manudlay sa iyangbuhok, magputol sa iyang mga
kuko ug manghugas sa iyang mga kamot. Si Nena usahay ra manudlay,
magputol sa iya kuko ug manghugas sa iyang mga kamot.
Si Nene himsog na pagkabata kay tungod siya mainampingon ug
hinlo sa kaugalingon apan si Nena masakiton kay dili siya kabalo muatiman
sa kaugalingon.
C. After Reading
Giganahan ba kamo sa atoa storya? Karon atoa tubagon ang mga
pangutana.
Mga Pangutana:
1. Kinsa ang kambal sa sugilanon?
2. Kinsa man kanila ang limpyada? Kinsa usab ang damak?
3. Nganong masakiton man si Nena?
4. Kung ikaw papilion, kinsa kanila ang himoun nimong
sumbanan? Kay nganuman?
C. ANALYSIS Compare and Contrast
Sa sulod sa kahon makita nato ang mga hulagway nga gipakita ni Nene ug
Nena. Ato kining bahinon ug isulod sa basket ang matuod nga
naghulagway sa matag-usa kanila.
(The teacher will prepare a box. Inside the box are different pictures of
good and bad practices. Pupil’s will be able to classify the pictures by
putting it into the right basket with the twin’s name tags. The pupils will be
reminded of the class rules before doing the activity.)

D. ABSTRACTION A. Generalization:
The teacher will ask the following questions:
1. Sa storya nga inyong gipaminawan ug sa gibuhat nato nga
pagbahin sa mga gawi, nakita na ba nato ang mga maayong gawi
sa pag-atiman sa kaugalingon?
2. Kinsa man kanila ni Nena ug Nene ang adunay maayong gawi sa
pag-atiman sa kaugalingon?
3. Unsa man kini na mga pamaagi o gawi sa pag-atiman sa
kaugalingon?
 a. Maligo adlaw-adlaw.
b. Manudlay pirmi sa buhok.
c. Manghinlo ug magputol sa kuko.
d. Magsipilyo sa ngipon.
e. Manghugas sa kamot pirmi.

Maayo! Kay kini inyo nasabtan.

B. Valuing:
Action Song: (Maghugas ng Kamay COVID Song-Blanktape)
(With background music the teacher will demonstrate the song once. Then,
the pupils will follow the action with the teacher. The pupils will be reminded
of the class rules before doing the activity.)

2. Nganong kinahanglan manghugas sa kamot kanunay?

E. APPLICATION Differentiated Activities

(The class will be divided into four groups. Each group will be given
different activities but following the same mechanics in accomplishing the
activity. After the activity, pupils will be reminded of sanitizing their hands
with alcohol.)
The teacher will say:
Ang kada grupo adunay kompletohon na buluhaton. Pagsulti sa
maestra sa bilang mutindog kini na bata nga nahimutangan sa bilang ug
mutindog kini aron tubagon ang buluhaton.

Adunay gihatag na hulagway matag usa sa miyembro. Ipilit kini sa

Hanay B makahimo nimong masakiton.

Ang bilog A resulta sa maayong gawi sa pag-atiman sa kaugalingon ug ang

 Kang kinsang grupo kaha ang midaug?
Very good! Ang midaug adunay premyo gikan kang Big Brother.

Performance Task

Magpatabang sa mga kauban sa balay.

Kompletoha ang tsart pinaagi sa pagbuhat sa musunod na mga gawi na
makapahimsog sa lawas. Butangi ug tsek (√) ang hanay na muhulagway
sa imong gibuhat sa inyong balay.

as compare and contrast, game, bubble map organizer and etc. using the
