IV. DESKRIPSYON NG KURSO
Bibigyan ng pahalaga ng kursong ito ang kasaysayan, panimula, kahulugan ng linggwistika. May pagsasaliksik at pagbabasa tungkol sa simula ng wika, mga
prinsipal na sangkap at angkan ng mga wika. Lilinawin at pag-aaralan ang magsasalita, ponolohiya, palabaybayan at palabigkasan. Tatalakin ang pagsusuri ng mga
modelo ni Chomsky, mga implikasyon sa pagtuturo at paghahambing. Babalik-aralin ang palabigkasan at palatuldukan. Magpapakitang gawa ng mga pananaw na
makapag-ulat at makasulat para ipakita ang pagpapahalaga sa wika bilang behikulo ng mabuti, maayos at kapakipakinabang na komunikasyon.
