SPECIFIC GUIDELINES FOR LIMITED FACE TO FACE CLASSES IN AUGUST 2022

NON-LABORATORY CLASSES

1. Opening Checklist
The opening Checklist should be accomplished before the start of lecture classes, faculty in-charge
will have to make sure that the checklist is accomplished by the assigning student and duly signed
by the Instructor.

2. Temperature and Class Health Declaration

Student and faculty in-charge will fill out the mandatory health declaration to be provided by the
school nurse for documentation and contract tracing. This should be accomplished before the start
of the lecture classes.

3. Health Protocols
If ever a student feels that he/she symptoms or a student is showing symptoms of COVID -19, this
will be referred to the CNSC system-wide protocols for suspected and confirmed cases.

4. Uniforms
Faculty in-charge must be strict in implementing proper uniforms guidelines. For safety, all students
and faculty should be wearing the ff:
a. Medical grade face masks, such as N95 and other similar masks. Cloth masks and non-protective
masks will not be allowed.
b. Face shied is optional

B. Lecture Proper

1. Documentation for Contract Tracing

For the required documentation, the faculty in-charge of lecture class should take photos or videos.
The photo or videos will be uploaded in CNSC LMS for safekeeping and for supporting documents.

2. Social Distancing Protocols

a.Lecture will be scheduled in the designated lecture rooms to avoid crowding of students while the
class in on-going. (See the schedule of classes)
a. During lecture classes, a distance of 2 meters should be observed while conducting classes.
b. Np crowding is allowed.
c. Students must stay at their perspective stations as much as possible.

3. Cleanliness of Lecture Rooms

a. All students are required to clean and sanitize their corresponding seats during lecture classes.
b.Hand washing will be observed following the required capacity to avoid overcrowding.
c. Hand sanitizers/alcohol shall be available at the entrance of the lecture rooms.
d. Students will also provide their own sanitizer/alcohol, No sharing of materials.

4. Showing of Symptoms During Class

a. If any student is suddenly showing COVID like symptoms during class, the Incident Commander
in the Main Campus and the CNSC Medical and Dental Office will be informed for their assistance.
b. The system-wide protocols for suspected and confirmed cases will be in this case.

The Closing Checklist should be accomplished after the lecture class by the student assistant and
signed by the faculty in-charge

2. Cleaning and Sanitizing

a. Student assistant will check and make sure that all areas are clean and garbage is segregated.
The student assistant will send a photo of all the specific areas in the lecture room to the faculty
in-charge for documentation.
b. The CBII will come in after the class and clean garbage bins and dispose all garbage then
afterwards conduct room disinfection.
c. Before the end of the day, the staff from Dean’s Office will check all lecture rooms and document
its status for monitoring purpose.

3. Compilation of Reports
a. All reports, forms, and documents will be submitted to the program chairperson for compilation
and safekeeping.
b. The program chairperson will consolidate all reports to be submitted to the Dean’s Office.

C. Others
1. Students will have an assigned area for safekeeping of their things.
2. After lecture classes, student are not allowed to loiter the campus and they are only given an hour
to change clothes and vacate the campus.
